Gears of War Judgement has leaked to the internet despite releasing in over a month's time.

Says who? I never remember anyone saying it was "exclusive". It sure as hell is easier to pirate a game and play it successfully on PC rather than it is on 360.

Says all the console gamers who say why a consoles only game won't be on the pc. Help even some devs say piracy is too rampant on pc while raking in pure profits from pc gaming. People are too hypocritical about pc piracy vs Xbox piracy. What's funny though is at the end pc devs rake in way more profits than console devs do.

That's why so many stay away from PC games. U can't make money. Microsoft's big money makers don't go to PC because they can't afford the loss. It really holds PC gaming back and allows consoles to prosper. Until it is somehow contained, PC gaming will take a backseat, which is sad. And now this. Microsoft is skating towards next gen on the back of halo, cod, and this game. Leaks r killing them.

Really, Hacking a PS3 was as easy as running an update, the 360 just needs its dvd drive tinkered with and the wii just needed a modded gamesave,

These games will still be bought regardless of the platform (Xbox, PS3) by those who want to play online. Can't do it with a dodgy copy.

If I actually had an Xbox 360 i would probably download this, play it to get some familiarity with maps, weapons etc then buy it day one for the multiplayer.

Sounds weird but I primarily play online, I nailed the MGO beta for 3 weeks and by the time I bought the game I was a ninja online

PC you just download, move a crack file and play. Nothing needs to be moded like consoles.

Really? Then explain to me why PC has 10x the amount of exclusive games compared to consoles. Piracy is everywhere, but with all the amazing PC deals retailers have been holding (Not to mention Steam sales), devs see a TON of money from the PC market.

For example, Sleeping Dogs is $10 on Gamefly for the Steam version. Console versions are still $30+ I bought Batman Arkham City GOTY for $7 the other week for PC. There's 3 million users playing games on Steam right this second, and that's JUST Steam. Devs aren't making any money of PC games, really? Please.

MS & Sony need exclusives to help feed competition and convince the consumer. It has nothing to do with devs not getting any money.

Most Gears players will still buy it, much differently than what PC casual masses would do IF they were not ignored. Again.

Wow, people really think piracy is PC exclusive? Is that argument still bouncing around? To my shame I dabbled in 360 piracy a few years back, could have been 2007, and back then the ISO and torrent websites were absolutely thriving. Anybody who thinks piracy is PC exclusive is only fooling themselves!

On topic, big 360 games always, always, ALWAYS leak at the very least a month in advance, how are people surprised by this anymore?!

No system is perfect but it certainly is more inconvient on a console. Plus MS has ways to notice if you have a hacked game, so if you try to play it online, they perma ban your console.

PC does have a few tricks up its sleeve to combat piracy, but its no where near as effective. And lots of pc exclusive studios have went bankrupt or been forced to go multiplatform with console releases. That's common news and any google can show articles about pc devs saying the same.

The console piracy amount is the same as PC i believe.
For example if a multiplatform title gets pirated 100.000 times on xbox and 500.000 times on pc , it doesn't exactly mean PC piracy is 5x more.
While 100.000 of those xbox pirates can play the game they downloaded , 4/5 of those pc pirates can't even run the game because they own a 10 year old pc.
