-8GB RAM

-360 controllers won't work with it
-It can run multiple games/apps at once
-Blu-ray is included but it can't play games, only install them. Every game must be run off the HDD (must be an anti-piracy thing)

SuperDAE is well known as a legit source. Multiple sources backed his spec of nextbox dev kit and of his evidence. The only difference is he tried to sell it on ebay.

Usually Dev kits are only given when non-disclosure agreement(NDA) has been signed by devs and publishers. In America, the violation of such is a serious offence. The fact he even was able to sell a dev kit is quite a mystery and let alone illegal but multiple sources have admitted the dev kit is the real deal.

Axe99 is completely right, even though FBI have agents all around the world working on embassies (just like every other federal police from any country), they will only work on foreign cases under special circunstances, one always being the local government agreeing with the action (in this case, a raid) and, usually, said government controlling the operation, not USA government.

Going against it isn't a simply violation of jurisdiction, it's a violation of sovereignty, i.e. can be technically ruled as an act of war depending on local legislation.

That said, in the Twitter it's said he had 1 FBI Agent and 7-8 other police officers raiding the house, he never said there were a bunch of FBI agents, so if those other police officers are australian it's actually possible. In fact I suspect the protocol would be along those lines, Aussie government and police would agree, excecute and comand the action asked by US government, which would designate one FBI agent to oversee it, represent US in the warrant and report back.

But I too agree with Axe99 that this kind of action would generate quite a media fuss. Also we would of had some evidence on the internet.. I mean, your neighbour just got raided by FBI in Australia? Come'on, that's youtube material right there!

Well police have raided e-bay auctions for Fraud as well. Say everything he posted was bogus, and was doing it to pump of the auction price of his bogus dev kit, well that would be FRAUD.

However, when you have several sources confirming the devkit details were not bogus, it typically means his house was raided because he really did have a devkit and really did try to break the law by selling it on ebay. They obviously didn't care so much about the leaks as much as they did him trying to profit from them, hence why Ebay and PayPal were cited on the warrant. Him trying to profit from it is where he crossed the line. The idiot should have known better.

Not sure where you got that info. Wii U's GPU still gets smoked by both "Durango" and "Orbis". According to the leaks Durango's GPU is a bit weaker than PS4/Orbis... lacking 2 shader cores and 4 compute cores if I remember right (I think Durango has 12 and orbis 18). Maybe even a slower clock speed as well, but I don't remember the specifics.

And these are games consoles. This gen has been a long drawn out one, and with all the casual stuff and tablets/phones taking over a lot of core gamers are once more ready for a PROPER focussed games console with raw power. There is never any way that 'less power' is better when it comes to gaming, if so we'd have stuck with the SNES or AMIGA or PS1 all these years.

We need/want more power onwards and upwards until games STOP looking like cartoons and start feeling like real experiences, so jaded gamers can start feeling excited again. The stock version of the WiiU gpu scores a massive 5870 in mark vantage thats proper perfomance ie testing on games ect,and this is higher than a HD4850 which has the same terraflops as the 720 chip ? Nintendo will make the E6760 more efficient lower the clock speed a little but with on board EDRAM ect ect it's basically a Memory heavy E6760 that will score alot better in its modified form.

720 has a HD6670 go look it up all i know is if devs dont try u will get the same performance but the E6760 is better.

Actually I've never looked at that GPU being a problem, if there is more than one. I believe the next Xbox will heavily rely on HSA. That GPU has Accelerated Parallel Processing. I believe it is just the foundation for Microsoft engineers to build their own GPU. They will use updated modifications to get a ton of power from it and their advancements in HSA will allow them to get better efficiency out of having several CPUs and GPUs. It will all equal a very powerful console.

If you understood what he released on a deeper level you might be able to figure out things about the hardware that Microsoft wasn't ready to reveal yet. No one really knows what the parts in the next Xbox or PS4 can do yet. Chip makers assume a lot of things that time proves are wrong. But releasing specs and identifying parts will make Sony look at those parts and start trying to figure out why they chose those specific parts. And using that and other information you know about Microsoft could lead to figure out more about their machines potential.

And common sense should tell you that if it was so unimportant, both Sony and Microsoft would just release all of the informtion on all of their parts.

That's because pro Sony media used the best PS4 rumor specs and the worst 720 specs to apoint PS4 as the winner. PS3 fanboys and pro Sony media ignored the leaked doc specs and and tried to dismiss katoku specs which showed the same very impressive specs the first leaked docs showed.

From what I have read, the 720 will be just as powerful as the PS4 but will be able to handle the work load much more efficiently then the PS4.

Anyone who actually understood how the 720's custom APU works and the move functions combined with the 8gb DDR3 RAM would see that this custom set up is more powerful then the off the self PC parts that Sony is using to create their mid-range PC PS4.

Most of the sites didn't understand what the "secret sauce" was or how it functioned. Now that reports have come out regarding what the "secret sauce" is and how it works, reports are starting to sing a different tune.

It's easy to simply just look at the hard specs and make a judgement call, especially when you deliberately over look components and functions simply because you don't understand them.

What was gamers largest complaint with the PS3? Install times. Now they (MS) want to FORCE you to install EVERY game you EVER buy. And I know for a fact that 500GB will not be enough after about 4-5 years of solid gaming (not to mention it won't be the simple "6GB" games. Think 15GB and up each).

And what else? Can't use Xbox360 gamepads? DUMB. Considering Sony is rumoured to be allowing Dualshock 3's and Sixaxis.

edit: Just to add, Sony said that 70% of PS3s were connected to the internet. That is consoles sold divided by PSN accounts. Think about that, 7 in 10 people DIDN'T have it connected, and you want to know what's even worse? Most people have more than 1 account, hell I had 5. If everyone had two (let's say a dad account and a kid account), that would mean that only 3.5 people out of 10 had it connected to the internet, but I guess you will just ignore this.

Just like the french launch of the ps3, where microsoft used the boat with Xbox loves you shit message, I guess today they will do whatever they can to spoil Sony's party:

They would be even able to announce a fake portable console, or say they're gonna donate 10 billions to help reducing CO2, or there could be some fake news saying they're going to buy Sega... or Nintendo..

If Sony manages to announce the ps4 and its final specs, along with some gameplay and the lineup titles, and if it turns out to be a great presentation and the ps4 may be available before Microsoft plans, well, guys, I bet Microsoft, once again, is going to rush even more than with the x360, and they're gonna sell you the x720... in kit:

You buy the console with the motherboard and RAM, 2 months before Sony, and 6 months later, you may upgrade it and add the processor and the GPU... but at least, they will have been the first. And when you buy the x720, of course, Microsoft don't forget their faithful customers, and you may track the progression on the development of the CPU and GPU, via the internet, of course, totally free, using a live gold subscription.

I'm a bit sarcastic, but you may be sure, the Sony party, today, is gonna be spoiled by Microsoft, who will use the most hideous tricks and weapons , to achieve their goal: make the Sony presentation become a simple article on internet, instead of a big show.

Before all the mods mark me as trolling or whatever, and restricting me/banning me, like they always do, whenever i or someone dares saying something or criticizing MR.microsoft,(is there a little flag near our username, that helps you censoring everyone who has no 50 stars on his flag? I say this, because whenever I see a guy getting restrictions and losing bubbles, I follow all his comments and see the guy is a foreigner, because, its really strange how we can get a restriction, with dozens of well said/agrees and only one or two disagrees, how can those 2 disagrees,or even 2 single reports as, ex,'troll' can give us a restriction and we lose 1 or 2 bubbles? Can you explain how it works, dear mods? I already managed, with about 10 different facebook friends, to mass disagree with someone, and reporting the random guy as trolling or out of topic or whatsoever, and guess what, never did the guy lose any of his bubbles, no restrictions, nothing. It looks like it doesn't depend 100% on the disagrees or reports, but its more a matter of the moderator not liking a guy, and whenever he opens his month for saying something, the mod kills him, with all his power, sucks his bubbles and gives a 3-5 days restriction. Being a non USA guy is not good, just like being a pro Sony, on n4g. No USA, no Xbox lover? : say hello to restrictions and losing bubbles).
Dear mods, can you explain to the millions of users how it really works? Can you restrict and take bubbles from people, regardless of how many agrees or disagrees or reports the guy have had, with his comment? Do you 100% affirm its automatic, and with x disagrees or x reports, a user automatically looses his bubbles, without a mod pushing a button? Can you confirm it, to the thousands and thousands guys that lost bubbles, with no reason?
