Ubisoft to release full Rayman Legends online challenge mode on Wii U

Don't have a wii u but I honestly respect these guys more. This just shows how humble one can be to the fan base that supports them. Activision, EA, Capcom etc. should take notes.

What about all the free ME3 DLC EA put out (a very uncharacteristic move by them)....or will we only credit Bioware?

EA gets too much negativity when they release much more quality games for gamers than Capcom or Activision yet they consistently get bunched with them.

While they are far from perfect I think gamers need to cut EA some slack

Awesome! I respect that the developers took the time to release a full Rayman Legends online challenge mode exclusively to Wii U owners, like myself, that felt burned. Though it may not be the full game release, it is at least an attempt by the developers to keep their fans happy; it's also free so I'm grateful for that. This may not be what I wanted but it's better than an "exclusive" demo that they were talking about. I may reconsider buying Rayman now, depends on how this whole thing plays out...

I wish all developers had the passion that theses guys have. A decision was made that was beyond their control and yet they are doing their best to ease the pain of having to wait til September. I can't wait until April. All other developers should take notes.

I will be picking this up on PS3 but, I truly sympathised for nintendo owners when the delay was announced. Glad you guys are doing what you can despite the crappy decisions by the guys sittings behind a desk counting their pennies.

Its a shame what has happened, a lot of people are upset about what happened, but they seem to be upset at the wrong people. The devs deserve the money and I'll be supporting this game all the way even if it gives money to those idiot higher ups.

Hey look at it this way, Ubisoft and their lawyers may have been scumbags and made a stupid move that effectively screwed over their Wii U base, but look at what the developers accomplished just for the fans! This is a really cool way to compensate fans and it's free no less. I think the devs in particular are more deserving of fan support than Ubisoft deserves to lose it.

move away from generic shooters like COD which if you all recall cost's you money to play on Xbox!!!

This will be another download for me following the FREE downloads of Tank Tank Tank and Zen pinball 2 on wii u! yes people we get some Free games on Wii U!

As much as I'd like to check the demo out, I wont. I don't want Ubisoft to think they can act like douches then "pay off" everybody they've annoyed with token gestures like this. Remember the only reason they've had to produce this demo is because they opted to act like cocks a few weeks ago.

By downloading this or purchasing the game when it "finally" comes out you're just encouraging Ubisoft to act like pricks in the future.

Kinda cool,but not cool enough. I will download it and I am sure that the "hours and hours" of fun will be great. The price tag is right. Now watching the demo how can people not see that this game no matter what is going to be best on Wii U hands down. Why would I want to use the pro-controller when so much of this game has been designed with the gamepad in mind. Ubisoft messed up. I do thank these guys though for at least giving us this. Problem is by the time it comes out in the fall I will be Playing allot of other cool games. My replay of Wind Waker HD alone is going to suck 40+ of just single player out of me.
