Today, veteran game developers with experience on games like Journey, Skyrim, Spider-Man, Edith Finch, Ratchet & Clank and more, have come together to announce a brand new game studio, Gardens.
Concept artist has a very distinct style and if they can translate that into the game well this studio will be making some visually stunning games.

No more gimmick centered consoles? Good.
Well, it DID introduce new ways to play video games. The problem is that no one but Nintendo implemented motion controls for the better, 'cept maybe Ubisoft with Red Steel 2.
While i agree with him to some degree, i believe that next gen consoles can bring something new to the table in terms of gameplay.
For example. More processing power will help improve Physics and Animations, and AI. If developers can use these to their full potential, we could get more games like L.A. Noire, or Portal, instead of Realistic shooters.
Your talent is the only thing that matters. Just sync it with the technological enchancements next gen will provide and you'll see people won't need any revolution.
