The planned remake of retro shooter Blood will not be happening after all. Monolith Productions founder Jace Hall revealed this week that Atari, the company that owns the rights to the game, has declined to continue the project.
Some Video Game franchises have weapons that are imaginative, unconventional and downright bizarre. This is a good thing. Join us as we investigate nine of the best.
I'm surprised Ratchet & Clank wasn't on the list. Late Saint's Row games, with more imaginative weapons like the Shark gun and the armchair with guns would fit on a part two list as well
Thank you to everyone for your excellent suggestions. They have all been added to the list for part two which should be published by the end of the month :-)
The PlayStation Brahs:
“What a year we had for Indie games in 2019. Once again Indie developers delivered games that showed the gaming community that not all great games come from AAA studios. As we look ahead 2020 is full of Indie goodness! Here’s my top 10 as of today!”
Publisher Atari and developer Nightdive Studios have released new screenshots of the December 2018-announced horror first-person shooter Blood remaster.
Can't wait for this, hopefully they do Blood 2 next! This series is extremely underrated and compatibility has always been a problem for both games since their inital release.
F**k you Atari. This was going to be given for free. Just keep on sitting on an IP and doing nothing with it.
They still exist?
Dammit!
Gotta love Jace Hall. Atari on the other hand is a completely irrelevant company these days. They have completely mismanaged their brand as a whole, and have completely missed out on opportunities over the last two generations to reinvigorate pretty much all of their IPs. The people that have been running this company for the last 20 years have been completely incompetent. I have a career as a commercial door salesman, and I could run that company better than whatever CEO they have in there right now.
They should remake NOLF.
