Lucas M. Thomas: ''It’s been three weeks now since Nintendo President Satoru Iwata confirmed the development of a new Mario Kart sequel for Wii U, an announcement that shocked absolutely no one. The Kart series has solidified itself as one of Nintendo’s no-brainer franchises – it’s just a foregone conclusion that a new sequel will show up on every new piece of hardware the company puts out.
For some, that regularity has become a comfortable consistency. For others, the series has grow too stale after too many sequels. So how can the upcoming Wii U edition keep the racing feeling fresh? We have a few ideas.''
Games that cheat are the worst, and not for the reasons you think.
Super Mario Kart.
Good lord, the struggle...
Mario Kart 64 was almost as bad, but not quite.
Tiger woods pga tour golf. No matter how good you played, the other players scores were close at end of round. I had to take extra strokes, then play my game the last round to prevent this.

"In this episode: E3 is next week! OH GOD, E3 IS NEXT WEEK! We host a fantastic roundtable discussing Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo at the event, the third party publishers, the challenges, and what our ultimate surprise announcements would be."
My two cents would be simply to keep the online system used in Mario Kart 7 (communities and what have you), make the game with a new engine instead of recycling the Double Dash engine again, make the gameplay a little faster and try to make the item balance a little more effective.
That's really it. Aside from some DLC and new concepts in levels, I'm pretty content with the current formula.
I have learned to love all MK games equally......... TAKE THAT F'N BLUE SHELL OUT!

Make it more like diddy kong racing??
They should let us make our own courses.
I think the move to HD and the online community from Mario Kart 7 is enough for the next Mario Kart game.
