Jetpack Joyride Has Been Downloaded Over 1 Million Times Across PS3 and PS Vita in 2013

It looks like that freemium release of Jetpack Joyride currently available on the PlayStation Network has really paid off for creator Halfbrick and developer Big Ant. Just in 2013, the run-for-your-life title starring Barry Steakfries has been downloaded more than 1 million times on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It wasn’t mentioned if these numbers include the $3.99 PS Minis version, but hopefully no one bought that anyways.

Ew, Jetpack Joyride Actually Costs Money on PS4

PP: Not all is good with Barry Steakfries’ return. No, instead of being a typical free-to-play game (the game features a ton of in-app purchases,) you’ll have to stump up a few quid before being pressured into micro-transactions.
