Watch Dogs Will Be Out This Holiday For ‘All Home Consoles,’ Leaked Poster Says

Watch Dogs, the impressive-looking game that stole the show at last year's E3, will be out this holiday for "all home consoles," according to leaked marketing materials received by Kotaku today.

would seem silly for them to release the PC version after the consoles but then again...it's Ubisoft

deep_fried_bum_cake4080d ago

I can't imagine it coming after consoles.

I imagine that bit "all home consoles" bit would just be because the consoles are the biggest market.

Kinda like how if you watch a COD advert then you wouldn't believe that it was on anything but the Xbox.

I'm really looking forward to this and hopefully we do get a holiday 2013 release.

So ALL instead of specifics.... PS4 confirmed release? :)

Hydrolex4079d ago (Edited 4079d ago )

I have a strong feeling Watch Dogs will come out for PS4, 720, PS3, 360 and PC

I also feel like there was a reason why
Rockstar delayed GTA V, the game looked good ! 8 months is too much to polish a game, maybe a PS4 release ??

Iduno, as big as GTA games are, I wouldn't say it's too much time..
But, I'd like to agree with you that it was for a reason.

I love how people 'hope' for things we already know.

If they announce a 720 and PS4 version I'm definitely buying it for those. Frame rate issues, blurry textures, missing content and possibly downsized compressed world On PS360 won't cut it for me.

Sounds like to me I may have another option, an option to play this game on brand new hardware with out annoying last gen limitations.

NexGen4079d ago

So this article confirms that they are sticking with their initial announcement when we first heard about Watch Dogs: late 2013 release. Duh.

deSSy27244079d ago

it is confirmed for PC.... on the E3 they showed the PC version with Xbox360 controller.

Well, my day just got a whole lot better. So pumped!

Lucreto4080d ago

I am looking forward to it.

Gamestop have it in their trade in lists in an email I got today.

Zodiac4080d ago

But will Watch Dogs also be out on Wii U? Ouya? Shield? "All home consoles" could mean a lot of things.

No, it can't mean a lot of different things. All is absolute.

nirwanda4079d ago

Can't wait for watchdogs on the Atari 2600.

BlaqMagiq244079d ago

It may be the best version yet lol

MysticStrummer4079d ago

Ha ha yeah I was gonna say "all" would include the Wii, but you took it to another level.

aliengmr4080d ago

Hmmm, was there anymore info on this beyond E3?

I wonder if anything new will be shown before the pre-order.

Who am I kidding, gamers will pre-order the hell out of this without seeing anything.

I'm just going to assume its crap until proven otherwise.

Conzul4079d ago

People disagree but I actually was assuming Remember Me would be great but I just found out it's linear so why bother. Things that look good have a way of surprising you anyway.

aliengmr4079d ago

And the cycle begins anew. Gamers are hopeless. /facepalm.

Cord Smith on the dreamy world of indie game Always In Mind

Cord Smith, the former director of marketing for Compulsion Games' well-known title We Happy Few, has gone through quite a change since leaving the studio. This is represented by his new indie platformer Always In Mind, which takes players into a bizarre dream world full of fantasies inside the head of a little boy named Teddy. Sector got the chance to ask the industry veteran a few questions about his inspirations for the game.
