Gi - hird party companies rarely make controllers that can compete with the official controller you get when you buy your console, and over the decades I’ve been gaming I have never been impressed with any other controller other than the official one. So, it was with a great sense of trepidation that I turned on the Gioteck GC-2 and started playing a few hours of Medal Of Honor: Warfighter, followed by some Dirt 3 and Tekken 6, to allow the controller to be used on the most common types of games that people play today.
Gioteck has invited gamers everywhere to 'Challenge Gioteck'. For now this is a small and impromtu forum where gamers can join or challenge Gioteck's community manager, gamertag/PSN ID Groovybitz.
However soon it will include games against a Gioteck team with other possibilities coming online in the near future.
Join Gioteck now on it's facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/off... or via the twitter account (@gioteckarmy) to show your interest!
"Third party controllers are often cheaper alternatives to official controllers, but there is a reason for that. I'm sure most people reading this will think of past experiences with these controllers and draw similar conclusions that include words such as “tacky,” “cheap feeling,” “not as good” and “it broke,” because most of them have been poor attempts to gain money from gamers. There is this myth that third party controllers cannot be good, but if you take time and figure out what gamers are finding wrong with official controllers, there is totally a market for it."
well it certainly looks better than official PS3 controller. It be good for shooters.
I remember the logitech wireless controllers for Xbox and PS2. I found those to be superior to the ones included with the systems. It is very possible for third party controllers to be as good or better than first party stuff. Just gotta have a manufacturer that's actually in touch with gamers and gives two craps about pushing quality over a lame attempt at getting the budget shopper's attention.
Looks hideous, sticks are in the wrong place, awful d-pad.
Just your typical third party controller.
that d-pad sucks...
just get a Cronus Adpater!
Where can i buy?!?someone help :/
I could've used this 4 years ago. Now with the PS4 announcement (allegedly) coming why bother? I'll just deal with the Dualshock 3 until the next gen hits later this year.
This is probably the best controller a sony system has ever had (without using a cronus, of course)
