So it's between this, Bioshock Infinite and GOW Ascension.Hmmmm. Tough choice.

SAE4080d ago

Buy the game. Finish it. Sell it. Buy another one.

That's what i do ^^

Myst4080d ago

Couldn't s/he just rent it from Gamefly or even in town video rental stores instead perhaps for five days or more then return it ? lol

SAE4080d ago (Edited 4080d ago )

Agree, But no rental stores in my country. Besides, This way i support the developers and play all the games i want. The people i sold them the games never buy new ones so it's not like i'm preventing a profit for the developers..

showtimefolks4080d ago

For me is bioshock and god of war for sure, MGR not so sure. Demo for MGR didn't really sell me on the game

SilentNegotiator4080d ago (Edited 4080d ago )

Find a place that rents games for 6-7 hours at a time and save a fortune.

lol jk

NewMonday4080d ago

all of the above

can't miss any of them

ReservoirDog3164080d ago

You can trade games too. There's a really good system for trading games here:

blasphemy to the ears of a game collector!!!

ChrisW4080d ago

"...its nice to see one high profile release surpass somebody’s expectations."

There must have been some mediocre expectations for 6s and 7s to surpass expectations.

Godz Kastro4080d ago

Your days are numbered my friend, enjoy it while it last..im not hating, just saying :)

SAE4080d ago (Edited 4080d ago )

Why is that Godz Kastro?. lol
I may die today though. Because of today. It's 14Feb. It's the revolution day in my country :D

If i didn't comment tomorrow it means i'm dead :P

EVILDEAD3604079d ago

Gohadouken4080d ago

Dunno , it's not even the same month for all 3 games , you could easily pick MGR in feb , then Gow in march , then Bioshock a week later after its release in april .

smashcrashbash4080d ago

Yeah not so easy for me.Don't exactly have a ton of money to spend on games even when there are spaces between them. Got to make my choices and stick with them

@ SAE.Don't like to do that either. But I will keep that in mind

-Ikon-4080d ago

MASSIVE!!

"Now your just being NASTY!!!"

All jokes aside I cant flippin wait.. Been waiting 4 years for this game.. MGS + P* match made in heaven.

LET'TER RIP!

1. Preorder all of them from best buy and effectively pay $40 per title.

You'll have to sign up for gamersclub unlocked which is $15.

So hey if you only buy 3 games this year (and who does that honestly. you will buy more) you'll effectively spend $45 per title.

2. Now if you were smart like me you would have purchased best buy gift cards when they had a deal on them where if you buy $50 store credit you got an extra $10 card for free.

3. Had you also combined this deal with a 5% cash back on your credit card for the quarter you would have gotten even more savings.

4. Then if you had made sure to only put the $5 minimum, you could pay even less because best buy offers price matching against the other retailers including online. So if amazon has it for even less you might get even more savings.

Currently I'm preordered for 5 games for 2013 and i'm spending $33 before any price-matching i match to pick up each games on release day.

So really if you had done your homework ahead of time then you wouldn't have to eat can after can of dogfood until your tears smell like dogfood.

I imagine this is the type of nonsense that corporations do to avoid taxes only more lucrative and rewarding. This is why they should eliminate loopholes/deductions. Otherwise we're just going to play the game and the ignorant will suffer. Whatever.

Campy da Camper4080d ago

Or just go spend 60 bucks and buy the damn game lol. I'd rather spend 10 more dollars and have the 3 hours of my life back from doing all that.

fermcr4080d ago

In all honesty Famitsu reviews are worth next to nothing. I'll wait for more credible reviews.

Mr-SellJack4080d ago

well it depends on what you like but overall GOW is the best of the three

fermcr4080d ago

Actually no... in my opinion, Bioshock Infinite will most likely be the best of the three and most likely be one of the best games this year... witch doesn't mean GOW Ascension is going to be a bad game, but probably won't be as good as Bioshock Infinite... but to be sure, better wait for their releases and judge for my self.

Tontus4080d ago

Agreed. God of War: Ascension is going to be one of the best games of this year! I don't think Bioshock Infinite will be as great, doubt it will match the first game but hopefully it'll be better than the second. I don't care for Metal Gear Rising after that horrendous demo.

xtremeimport4080d ago

I really just dont have any interest in this game.
haven't since it was announced and all the video I've seen on it haven't turned me on.

Good to know its another solid game though.

finbars754080d ago

I think i will pass on this one.I only play true MetalGear games not a Bayonetta and Vanquish knockoff. The demo really represents the franchise for the worst and gets away from what true form of the series is.Im sure you guys will love it but in my onion only this is total rubbish and a slap in the face. The reviews that have come in are fom the western part of the world and they love there fast paced silly gameplay.

Blastoise4080d ago

Wow incredible score for Metal Gear Rising, shame Famitsu's review's are completely all over the place...

asmith23064080d ago

I didnt like the demo for this at all, don't know how it scored so high.

Enemy4080d ago

Can't wait to buy the PS3 version with no screen tearing and v-sync.

Bathyj4080d ago

Hmm, I really should play that demo...

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil1d 1h ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai19h ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing695h ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle4h ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal4h ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

Abnor_Mal47m ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

*As per Wikipedia

boing13h ago(Edited 3h ago)

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II - PC Wore it Better

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II was an intriguing and unique RTS title, that sadly suffered in its console port.

dadavis199216h ago

Was just thinking about this game and wishing I had a way to revisit it. The way EA scrubs these titles from existence once their licensing runs out is horrid.

Michiel19895h ago

there is a client made by modders and it also works online.

kevco335h ago

Indeed. The game can still be played online on PC.

Xbox 360 players, though? Bang outta luck.
