Aliens: Colonial Marines Review | Quarter to Three

Quarter to Three: "Utterly flubs the fine art of shooting cool guns at freaky things in space dungeons. And it has a terrible weapon progression system and cut-rate production values, to boot. Plus, there are no predators, which is apparently what it takes to make an aliens game that isn’t awful."

omg these guys sound like a broken record.

Okay, if there's actually something wrong with the game, if its buggy, there's massive clipping or at least half of the stuff I've heard about which defenders are ignoring as they come to the defense of this game are in fact true, then we're fu*ked.

Reviewers can't have an opinion, and when a dev delivers a sub-par or broken game someone will defend it. A label can be slapped on crap and people will not only buy it, but stand up for it. This is the whole DmC: DMC thing all over again but likely on the other side.

This guy also gave Halo 4 a 1/5 and Uncharted 3 2/5.

Don't bother, Quarter to Three is the biggest troll site ever. It is run by a failed actor who needs attention. Biggest loser, who isn't even a gamer, just a stay at home old man who needs to get laid.

Anyway, Aliens isn't that great apparently'anyways.

The Saboteur - criminally underrated and a fantastic mechanic of bringing colour back to Nazi-occupied Paris.

The article lists Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.

Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.

I still play AvP on PS3 to this day. That game had fun multiplayer too.
