Media Create published the latest hardware sales from Japan.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Media Create are as follows:

3DS LL – 89,050
3DS – 38,645
PS3 – 17,004
Wii U – 12,185
PSP – 11,056
Vita – 8,762
Wii – 1,945
Xbox 360 – 593

For comparison’s sake, here are the hardware numbers from last week:

3DS LL – 51,654
3DS – 26,028
PS3 – 18,106
Wii U – 12,959
PSP – 12,191

It's that time of the week again where everyone reads the numbers then states the obvious to everyone else.

"3DS sold well and but the Vita and Wii U aren't too selling well etc..."

well at least the Wii U is outselling its predecessor..

@ neonridr -yeah the wii u is selling 10,000 more. the psp and vita gap is only 3,000 .and the vita $150 more.so whats ur point are u trolling .

nope, just pointing out while both are not managing great numbers, The Wii U is at least doing what it's supposed to do, outsell it's previous model.

Numbers for Vita and Wii U will increase as the games come. The reason why the 3DS sells so well is because of the support it receives in Japan. Once support moves away from the PSP and onto the Vita, then the numbers will take off there too.
