Oddly enough Aquaman's biggest problem: his real name is Aurthur.

Sure there was King Arthur, but its still a nerd name.

@Evildoomnerd:
But he only regularly used his last name. Was more than a bit embarrassed when it was revealed, and really only accepted it because Mrs. Cunningham used it.

So is he still a useless hero?

I think not...

Captain Qwark 94083d ago

you know, i never thought id see the day when i didnt think auqaman was lame and useless and here we are now.....

not only is he neither of those things, whats even crazier is he looks bad *ss. im actually considering using him. kudos to netherealm

Geoff Johns is actually doing a really good job with him in the comics. DC has really done a great job across the board building him up.

You should read the Throne of Atlantis series of Aquaman and JL. Like DarthJay says, he's completely different from the dip he was...pretty much always. He now has abilities out of the water and can beat Superman while in the water...

BlackWolf4083d ago

It had to happen sometime. He looks like a boss!

BanBrother4083d ago

Aquaman *blows*, if ya know what I mean :-)

He looks cool! Kind of wish he had a beard and the multiuse hookhand.
