While SuperBot Entertainment’s role in the brawler has nearly come to an end, the studio still has more dlc characters in the works who will be unveiled next month.

Seriously.. Most anyone who's played it for an extended period of time knows it's a great fighting game with very few overpowered characters (Raiden, Kratos, Drake). The announcement of Sony's and SuperBot's relationship ending has to be the most disappointing news this generation as a PS3 owner. It's SUCH a promising IP. Hopefully we get a sequel from Sony Santa Monica that fixes the problems with the first one.

This is a game that needs a rebranding. I say, they should add all the DLC and put the effort in adding new modes and what not...then rerelease this with ADVERTISMENTS!!!!! at a $40 price. I think it has a chance of still doing well.

yeah raiden is a bit overpowered right now.

sackboy was the most overpowered though. i had a 25-0 record in 2v2s in the preseason with sackboy before they nerfed his ap gain via cake and ap required for level 3.

As long as it's fun, I'm not really gonna complain about the roster. Could it have been bigger? Sure, but when you think about how complicated it would have been to build the roster they did- and add in the ones people complain about- it's a miracle they even pulled off THAT much.

I think they said that Santa Monica would be working on the rest of the DLC. So, that is just the last of what SuperBot finished.

$5 per character seems a bit overpriced to me, but I'd be willing to pay that much if I like the characters enough. If they can't get Crash and Spyro, I guess I could settle for Tomba and Robbit.

From what I saw from the two characters released so far, you get an arcade campaign for each, an unlockable costume and minion, plus trials, combos, and tutorials for each. It seems OKAY to me, but it makes buying characters I'm not really interested in seem unlikely.

I honestly wouldn't care if they released any more characters. The netcode on this game is horrid. I'd rather them fix the netcode first, even if it takes months to put work into any of the new characters.

After patch 1.07 actually made the netcode even worse, I just quit playing. I play video games to have fun, and being the competitive player I am, other players teleporting out of my combos breaks the game for me.

Maybe if they would have released ALL the characters they were licensed for, on the ORIGINAL roster instead of reserving some for DLC the game would of sold better.

Nothing about this game made it a "Must Own".

First and last game from Superbot sorry guys. It was a good game but not for everyone.

Tomba, Crash, Snake...yeah sure, but they should've gotten all the 1st-party (or 2nd-party) characters first!
-Sonya (from 3d dot game heroes)
-Sage Freke or any other character (from Demon's Souls)
-Oliver (from ni no Kuni)
-Leonard (from White Knight Chronicles)
-Rift Guy (from Starhawk)
-Shibito (from Siren)
etc

And all the IPs that couldn't be converted into characters on the roster (Warhawk, Motorstorm, GT...) should have been summons for cryin'out loud! They should be in the game one way or another! On top of of 40+ characters roster!
