Resident Evil Needs A Long, Long Break

If Crapcom are making money off these twits, then they're gonna keep churning out generic shoot-em ups disguised as Resident Evil.

I'm glad Guitar Hero has met its hopefully long hiatus. They really should've stopped after GH5 and Band Hero, 'Warriors' was just a sad song. Maybe in 5+ years there will be another GH or RB, but its safe to say everyone from age 10+ is over it for the most part

if its going to take a long break maybe it should conclude the current story with resident evil 7 *or 9 in my point of view*

then take that long needed break perhaps turn it into a reboot over the years

but with the possibility of resident evil 2 remake i kinda dont want it to stop now lol

They should reboot RE1, 2, and 3 but fuse them into one game similar to how MK9 fused together MK1, 2, and 3.

Resident evil needs to go back to survival horror roots i miss the days of conserving ammo and being on the edge of my seat and looking behind not knowing if something will pop up at any given time. Oh the glories of the original games.

RE4 is about as far as they should've gone. It had more action than normal but enough strategy and its share of scary moments to be Resident Evil. Playing the Resident Evil 1 remake for GC it's interesting how well made the scares were, it's apparent they aren't even trying to scare un anymore. There was talk of a reboot, honestly getting back to its roots would be awesome, been awhile (except Revelations) since we've had that kind of RE. I still really like RE4's gameplay the most, I'd like something in that vein be used (maybe have a hybrid RE4 and 1-3 Tank controls)

RE5 was more action than expected and not scary at all.

Hope capcom takes it back to its roots and makes a next gen re as great as remake and zero were on GameCube.
I still play those games 10 years later.
I've probably beaten re remake 10 to 15 times over the years.

I forget all about RE already this franchise is long dead now the creator of RE himself have move on & prepare something new time for surviving horror fans to move on also.

I wonder when the ppl will stop buying games based on title name alone w/o doing a background check first, what each one of u must start doing in order to not be disappointed time & time again from crapy sequels, is to mark the creators names of all your favorite games & to follow their work closely, if the name of the original creator miss from a sequel dont rush to buy a game day1 based on your previous experience.

This advice goes to all those ppl who cry on forums & various game sites because they wasted their money in a game they thought would be good because the previous one was good too, but they never check before they buy this game if the same person who make the original did the sequel also..

As for survival horror fans w8 patiently for the new creation of Mikami code name: Zwei, that's what I'm doing.
