Analog Addiction Writes: "If there is a category that sees frequent releases while growing in popularity over the last few years, it is HD ports of older and generally beloved games. We have easily seen dozens of HD ports over the years, a lot of which have been released in collections of two or three games. I personally love that publishers and developers have decided to re-release their popular games in high definition for several reasons:
1). It gives people the chance to play games they might have missed from past consoles.
2). People will get to see their favorite games run in the best possible way without transforming the graphics (depending on how the HD port is handled of course).
3). A majority of the ports will have achievement or trophy support.
4). Most of the time, they are all a fantastic value. The games that are re-released on their own used to be $50 when they first came out. You are getting a bargain when they release a collection with two or three...
TheGamer Writes "In my experience, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess’ once-warm reception has chilled somewhat over the years. Praised at launch as a beautiful return to form after the “childish” art style of its direct predecessor, the world eagerly embraced a game that more closely followed Ocarina of Time’s famous structure and plot cues. Perhaps most alluringly of all, the grandeur and sheer scope of this reimagined Hyrule Field wowed millions of us."
The best Legend of Zelda games experiment and tackle new grounds for the industry. These are the essential titles in the series you need to play.
I am a huge Zelda fan and love them all, but for me Ocarina Of Time is the greatest and my second all time favourite game after Final Fantasy VII.
Oh gee can't imagine what Number 1 is
....
A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker etc is better than Breath of the Wild.
Majora's Mask still holds as my favorite to this day, despite being the black sheep of the series.
I love them all, but Wind Walker, Link to the Past and Minish Cap are my favorites
BLG writes: "The original titles are classics with near-infinite replayability. Later releases, however, have stumbled. Usually, they’re hampered by attempted innovation with new control schemes or gimmicks. Still, there’s a lot to enjoy with the beloved Nintendo franchise. To celebrate, we’re going to rank the best Star Fox games in the franchise. To come up with the order, we’re mixing in a little bit of Metacritic ranking and author opinion."
twilight princess shouldve been the remake coming soon, not windwaker.. oh well, they will never get it i guess & go their own way instead of what fans want.. Why cant they just look at the sales of the games & see which sold the most.. anyway, link to the past remake for 3ds would be great.. AFTER a new one comes out tho.. Its been long enough w/o one on there
Does it have to be a GameCube game? Cause I would love to see Donkey Kong Country 2 HD or Super Mario World but with modern graphics.
Also, the Mario sports collection should feature Kart: Double Dash
I would rather play new games. The odd remake here and there is fine, but if Nintendo does everything their fans say then the Wii U will pretty much become the HD Gamecube in the most literal of terms.
I would love to replay Twilight Princess in glorious HD.
I think they chose WindWaker because its style of graphics are Much easier to port to HD.
i think its hilarious that all these Nintendo fans want HD remakes now, especially when they were the ones against it when Microsoft and Sony were doing it
