Marshall shares his views of Fallout 3 for The Nerd Cabinet
"I remember when this game was released back in 2008. I got home from school, went on Xbox Live and saw a numerous amount of friends playing it, questioning myself what the game was I looked at it online and shortly after travelled to Blockbuster and rented it. "
Magic: The Gathering – Fallout is a new take on the TCG inspired by Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Falllout 76.
Twinfinite: “War may never change, but the prices of rare games do!”
"And lastly, famous Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling helped to create the action-RPG’s setting. What’s really fascinating, though, is that the game was partially financed by taxpayers from Rhode Island (which allegedly lost the state millions of dollars). Yikes!"
1. Now infamous Schilling
2. No allegedly, it did. And they couldn't pay it back.
3. What really lost the money wasn't the SP release but the MMO they were working on. This was supposed to be an introduction into the MMO world.
I hate counting limited editions for these lists. I mean, they're made to be rare and expensive. It's far more interesting to hear about the NCAAs (even if most people know that one already) and the El Chavos than some massive hit that came with a $200 statue at retail.
Most Xbox games don’t hold as much value compared to other systems. Kameo, Blue Dragon, Last Remnant , and a handful or 2 of other games that I kept.
These are the worst guns in video games. Unlike weapons that are useful and practical, these only take up space in your inventory.
I also LOVED Fallout 3, I rented it aswel, only because I didnt really know what I was walking into, I saw a few gameplay videos etc. It looked alright, bit shabby
I honestly think it was because of the controversy there was surrounding the game, "ultra violence" being the word
But now ive played it, I can say theres more to the game than just violence, I remember a quest where you go to this small town and theres slaves walking around wearing bomb collars, this one dude runs for his life and his head goes pop, lol, If I remember you have to save these children for a town ran by children, very funny/original, I love the humour and random events
Fallout Vegas was "ok" didnt seem as big as Fallout 3, I cant wait for Fallout 4, Its gotta be a next gen title
idk how or why i got this, i don't remember. but im glad i did very big fan of fallout. i prefer this over elders scrolls any day. and i cant wait for Fallout 4!
I was so excited when this game came out. I played/loved the first 2 on PC.
My Wife an I had just bought our house in September of 2008, and after weeks of cleaning/painting/moving in -- when this came out in the end of October, I couldn't wait to just sit down on my couch, relax, and explore the wasteland. Sadly, my PS3 would get the YLOD 2 months later and I wouldn't get to finish/100% the game until a few months after that.
Truth be told, I enjoyed "New Vegas" more, though. It felt more like a true predecessor to Fallout 1 & 2.
Still playing it and about ready to play the dlc for the first time. It's the only game that I've had since release and haven't traded in.
I love Fallout 3, my favorite game. Got 3 legit level 30's
