innovation comes to pc first usually, when it works then it goes on consoles as well. its just easier for the little guys to start on pc, then the suits gobble up the ideas and go multiplat.
Maybe for AAA games, but the indie scene is amazing and making some incredible stuff. Its a great time for games for sure.
