Spencer: ''If you’ve been following Siliconera closely you might remember Zillions of Enemy X, a card game developed by Nippon Ichi and Broccoli. Not the vegetable, the anime/video game company that makes games like the Uta no Prince-sama series. Zillions of Enemy X was spun off into an anime series and it’s also coming to PlayStation 3.
Dengeki PlayStation reports Z/X, the abbreviated name for Zillions of Enemy X, is slated for release this summer. Nippon Ichi Software will publish the game, which is described in the magazine as a RPG. Linebarrels of Iron creators Tomohiro Shimoguchi and Eiichi Shimizu are confirmed to be artists in the game.''
Siliconera: We recently reported on how you play the game, but you can now try it out for yourself in the flash demo courtesy of NIS.
Zillions of Enemy X offers network play, that will allow you to test your cards and strategic wits against others online. You can play against friends or climb the ranking ladders by facing other people while using your own deck and ZXes.
Zillions of Enemy X’s battle system revolves around using a device that keeps sealed ZX within cards. By using the cards in your hand, you can command ZXes to fight opponents and even capture enemies by turning them into cards.
This actually looks pretty fun
Beautiful artwork made animated the lazy way.
Looks like a yugioh game where the entire world (which is japan)
Is the battleground.
Very nice.
Hm...this does look interesting, but I think this would have a better home on the Vita due to it being a card game.
Can't wait to see the actual gameplay. I got so addicted to playing Monster Rancher: Battle cards back in the PS1 era that I had to track a copy in Ebay. Finally got one in mint condition...totally worth it
