Activision and Ubisoft have confirmed new Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed games, but which series could use a break? Which needs extra time to retool?
CCG writes - "If you enjoy games like Factorio, Sixty Four is worth checking out. The asking price of $5.99 is very reasonable. On the title screen you can import/export your Base64 encrypted save file. This is handy to know if you want to make any edits. Otherwise you can enjoy picking up where you left off with the Steam cloud support."
MonsterVine: "Another Crab’s Treasure might be one of the most delightful games you’ll play this year, and is great fun for veterans or newcomers to the genre."
TSA writes: Feeling a bit crabby at the lack of new soulslikes in the last 15 minutes? Well, Another Crab's Treasure is absolutely the answer!
The companies behind both franchises are going to run them both right into the ground.
uh heres the best answer possible, hows about both take a 5 year break, and ubisoft makes a prince of persia, rainbow 6,and beyond good and evil sequel, and activision makes some new ips.
AC3 was amazing, but Black Ops 2 online play was an INDUSTRY REVOLUTION. My opinion is COD should ride BO2 one more year, and just release new map packs and guns for an extra year. This was the release we've been waiting for, why not milk it and make it that much more amazing for another year?
Assassins Creed always tells a great story, so I welcome a new release every year.
Assassin's Creed.
The Call of Duty franchise has no possible way of redeeming itself. The talented developers who did 1, 2, 4, and MW2 are gone now. So, there is no hope.
i think call of duty can redeem itself, but they really need to get its crap together and fix what so many people have issues with, give it a rest for a year or 2 and return with a better engine/stories. assassins creed on the other hand continues to be excellent games because they atleast try to fix issues each year.
