think about this. having a new video game console and its very powerful improving on most gaming technology we've seen on game systems so far. improvement with ai, npc count, npcs all look different, better graphics, better lighting, amazing online, better animations, and just overall improvement of everything with games for casuals to the core and more. think of this system being what the wii u should have been.

wii u is doing terrible because of nintendo and the fanboys being 'yes master'

RTheRebel4091d ago

mika cmon you calling someone a fanboy muhahaha

Matt06114091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

At first I thought this was a reply, then I realized it was some random personal attack on Nintendo.

sunnygrg4091d ago

Ni No Kuni sequel. C'mon... Make it happen, Level 5.

juandren4091d ago

I shudder at this thought, but Ni No Kuni is doing too well in North America. I am afraid Level 5 might do a Square Enix and develop for the 360. And I would be fine with that, but look at what has happened to Final Fantasy because of their greediness. Let's pray Level 5 has more sense

Fel084091d ago

"the fanboys being 'yes master'"

Sorry to break the news to ya, but that's just not Nintendo fanboys. Xbox, PS3 fanboys are the same way. Actually fanboys of any company, who thinks its cute to be kissing that companies ass, when in reality the company couldn't give a flying flip about you, just your money.

blackblades4091d ago

@RTHERebel
That's mika the most hated person on n4g, heshe got a new name no wonder I didn't see that name in a while.

NewMonday4090d ago

the great news for NiNoKuni is that the global release of the game almost tripled sales after just 2 weeks in the market, sends a strong message about the global market for top JRPGs

wiiu- hardware-2,544,024 , software-5,233,180 , not good , maybe this is the real reason for rayman delay. this is total.2-1 ratio.and Nintendo land counts for 1,623,104 of the software count which comes in the deluxe box.New Super Mario bros u sold 1,520,566, so with 3,143,670 total between the 2 that leaves 2,089,510 to split between all the other games released for the wii u so far, no other games where on the top 30 .blackops2 sold 16,000 http://www.vgchartz.com/gam...
zombiu sold 33,000 http://www.vgchartz.com/gam...
not good at all no wonder 3rd party are pushing back games , expect more delays , Nintendo fan boys back off I have a wii u , and im not happy with this im worried.

Realplaya4091d ago

But IGN says ZombieU sold a Grand Total: 187,930 units did you do proper research?

Jobesy4091d ago

When the chart says 0.16 and 0.33 that translates to 160,000 and 330,000. The chart is based off of 1 million, so 1.5 would mean 1,500,000. If you're going to quote a chart, learn how to read it first.

InactiveUser4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

You're not going to have a 10-1 tie ratio in 3 months.

Like people used to talk about tie ratios between the 360 and PS3 in '07, well duh, if one's been out almost 2 years and the other only 1 year, obviously it's more likely the 2 year old console's owners started buying more games for it.

I'm not saying the Wii U is doing good at all, just talking about tie ratio only a few months in to any console's existence.

fluffydelusions4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

I'm worried for Wii U. I mean for a new console those numbers are quite terrible. When PS4/720 launch it won't be any better I think. 3DS on the other hand is doing very good.

PopRocks3594091d ago

The Wii U is the most expensive piece of dedicated gaming hardware on the market right now. It also has a smaller userbase with a smaller library of games and this is a month where there are no real releases coming out.

I wouldn't have expected it to be flying off the shelves this week either. The 3DS is the exact opposite. Many people have them, there are quite a few games for it and it has a bunch of games coming out this year.

medziarz4090d ago

but there's a 10% increase

AWBrawler4090d ago

The slow Rise before March, and monster hunter release, but of course that will be ignored because the Wii U is doomed and all....

RogerDodger19544090d ago (Edited 4090d ago )

@fluffydelusions The Wii U lauch was far more better than the PS3 or the Xbox360. So i wouldn't be too concernes about it, espacially when Pikmin 3 comes out, it will be racking up sales

wishingW3L4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Ni No Kuni topping a WW chart? Can't believe it. 0________0

animegamingnerd4091d ago

the rebirth of JRPG'S my friend is upon us

Stedron4091d ago

Yes we have waited so long for this!

PS4isKing_824090d ago (Edited 4090d ago )

My fellow JRPG brothers it is time to take back our throne!!!!!!!!!!!

Denethor_II4090d ago

But SquareEnix know best. What we want is a linear action game with a hint of rpg elements somewhat. The sales of this traditional jrpg must be an anomaly. Now lets all wait for FFXIII-3 or whatever they're calling that shit. Resident Evil 7 is also on my radar.

juandren4091d ago

I watched "Spirited Away" last night for the first time. It is a movie by Studio Ghibli (they did the art for Ni No Kuni). I highly recommend it to any JRPG fan. The world that Studio Ghibli creates is unlike any I've ever seen in a movie. I have yet to play Ni No Kuni, but after watching that movie I am definitely going to buy it

Bathyj4091d ago

If you havent seen Princess Mononoke, see it.

Maybe my favourite animated film ever, and one I'm been dying to see made into a game since I saw it.

juandren4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Bathyj: I just read up on it and it looks awesome. Will see if I find time to watch it tonight. Thanks man. Bubble+

Bathyj4091d ago

The dude rides an elk instead of a horse, and the chick rides a giant wolf.

How can you not like that?

wenaldy4091d ago

I recommend to watch Grave of the Fireflies, touching movie from Studio Ghibli.

StreetsofRage4091d ago

All fantastic movies up above. I recommend a recent gem... children who chase lost voices.

And what a wonderful game it is!
I'm loving it very very much :)
- The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra performs beautifully.
- The game play is classic but yet not tiresome
- The story is not new (but what story is?) however equally refreshing.
Again, its a very beautiful game.

I really hope we see more from Studio Ghibli and Level 5! Note sure who's vision this was, but it works.

NastyLeftHook04091d ago

give it up for ni no kuni! and ps3.

kratos1234091d ago

I am so happy for this game
It has now over half a million sold in total
do you guys think it will break a million?
i think it would be possible for this game, now we should just hope for a sequel

NastyLeftHook04091d ago

it will, i walked to gamestop the other day and heard a casual (obvious) customer asking about ni no kuni.

Nathaniel_Drake4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

It's funny you put a classic jrpg on the PS3 and it sells. Yet devs like Mistwalker avoid the PS3 like the plague and don't put a game on it. This should be proof if you do put classic jrpg and not some jrpg that has western influence that it will sell and even beat top games like COD. Has any jrpg this gen done that?

Arksine4091d ago

Mistwalker avoids the PS3 because Sakaguchi had a falling out with Sony's executives. This happened when he was at Square, and IIRC its one of the reasons why he left.

They still make some pretty good games though, and they would have success on PS platforms. Sony really should try to patch that relationship up.

WeAreLegion4091d ago

I agree. Many of those executives are gone. With Kaz in charge, relationships with many old friends have been patched. :)
