Kind of breaks my heart a little that this won't come to the Vita. The 3DS is nice but I wouldn't sacrifice what the OLED can do for the game over 3D. If they made this game with the tools for HD, then it could of had a Vita version without the 3D effect. Oh well, I am still going to get it on 3DS but it's funny how some series can get strung across multiple platforms with individual games being exclusive.

Nintendo is where Castlevania got its fame, so its only right they have a few exclusives. Honestly there should be more Metal Gear exclusives too!!

Why are u making this a fanboy issue? The guy just wants to play on Vita instead because the screen is larger. He never said anything about Konami's relationship to Nintendo or Sony.

But that was HIS opinion. Now on to MINE: I on the other hand think 3rd parties on the Wii U are a waste since most people with a Wii U already have a PS3 or 360 with friends online that they already knew for years (Yeah I know we're not talking about Wii-U, but do you see HOW I flipped things to cause a fanboy war? The same way YOU just did it?). So, if u wanna start some flame-bait for no reason, then please accept my response as a counter-declaration to your fanboy war.

Metal Gear was on MSX first.

It was ported without Kojimas approval technically(This was before he became more recognized) to the NES and it was Horribly ported at that.

NES didn't make MG popular. MGS broke the gaming regime with stealth action on PS1 'First'....so, technically----......

Damn, all the disagrees! This must be a young crowd.

Lol they're all just Sony nuts, if it's not a pro Sony post you'll get down voted.

lol I love this:

"

@jimmyelgringito – Read the interview. It’s pure speculation and the word “probably” is a leap on the part of you and the journalist :)

— Dave Cox (@CastlevaniaLOS) February 4, 2013"

It seems everything these days is "a leap on the part of you and the journalist" when it concerns Nintendo in some way or another

baldulf4083d ago (Edited 4083d ago )

Cox is doing damage control since talking about HD versions on a non Nintendo system is a breach of the exclusivity.

After one year there would be a port (if the game is a bit successful, of course)

Godchild10204083d ago (Edited 4083d ago )

The damage was already done and I know they are not Capcom, but it gives people a reason to hold off on getting the game day one. I will get it on the 3DS, but will be looking forward to a port sometime in the future to hit the Marketplace and the PSN Store.

I believe the game will sell well, because the previous Castlevania games on Nintendo platforms have sold well for them.

Yall still messed up your opportunity by not making castlevania lords of shadow 2 much much better

Had strong foundation to build on yet the 2nd game wasn't as good

Snookies122096d ago

Completely agree with that, Lords of Shadow 1 was fantastic. I was so excited for the second game, and was going to pre-order it. Thank god I never did...

jeremyj29132095d ago

That blame goes to Konami. Look up the interviews with Mercury Steam. Shows why all the stuff with Kojima wasn't all that surprising to me.

Segata2095d ago

I'd love to see them make another 3DS Metroid or an HD 2.5D Metroid on Switch.
