It's nice to see Ni No Kuni doing well in Europe (According to VGchartz). Hopefully the sells will get other developers to bring over more JRPGs.

aceitman4092d ago (Edited 4092d ago )

sony is up world wide on sales ranging from 4+-8+ good show sony . world wide.

Army_of_Darkness4091d ago

my goodness! another platform finally beat the 3ds for once! LOL!

Ripsta7th4092d ago

Lets see how many fanboys are gonna say they are not stock owners or say this isnt related to gaming now that their daddy the ps3 is on top...

GribbleGrunger4092d ago (Edited 4092d ago )

Could you expand on that ... I'm a tad confused by your comment. All I can decipher from that flimsy logic is that you are making a correlation between the Sony sales figures, where Sony fans pointed out that the failings where not really game related, and this, which is the sales of the console only. That can't be right though because that would be a very odd comparison.

Ripsta7th4091d ago

Nope ive lured the site long enough to see this happen, when Sony is not 1st on sales everyone starts saying how they are not stock owners and dont care bout sales and how only games matter, you cant deny the truth

GribbleGrunger4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Well you must be going into different threads than me because I've never seen it myself. Sony has outsold the 360 every week for nearly four years now -- except the last five weeks of the year. So I have to think you've imagined it. The only people I've seen that say those sorts of things are 360 owners in WW sales threads. Why would Sony fans say that when the PS3 outsells the 360 every week? It makes no sense at all. Unless you are one of those people who only usually go into American sales figures and assume they're the WW numbers ... ?

What I have seen is Sony fans going into US sales threads and reminding 360 owners that they're not WW figures. I think you are confusing the fanbase here, or are taking a very few isolated cases and assuming it's the norm ... There are a few foolish Sony fanboys out there as well, who also get fooled into believing the US is the world.

one2thr4092d ago (Edited 4092d ago )

@Rip
But do you feel good about that, or do you gain an indescribable amount of pleasure of having post something about something that is usually inevitable?

Ripsta7th4091d ago

I gain an indescribable pleasure of having post something about something that is usually inevitable, Yes

one2thr4091d ago

Understandable... And I guess I can only respect your statement...

adorie4092d ago

Daddy Microsoft is waiting for you at NPD time. Don't be a fool. Your comment was uncalled for.

And some people, who prefer one console over the other, wonder why these arguments continue, endlessly.

bryam19824092d ago

well if we compare sony and microsoft sales basically USA and europe sales equals than japan move the balance for sony so if we stop counting the sales of microsoft for a year(remember they have a year star over sony)than we will see who is the winner on sales this gen so he is not a fool

Bathyj4092d ago

yeah good point bryam.
xbox fans always pointed out from early on that japans sales didnt matter because xb sold so much in usa.
but as you said, europe basically cancels out the us so japan casts the deciding vote.

plus no one ever mentions that ps3 actual released a year and a half after xb in europe and still became the most prefered console.

BitbyDeath4092d ago (Edited 4092d ago )

The complaints are because the numbers only include 3 EU territories instead of 27, not to mention both Australia and New Zealand are also missing.

VGChartz Europe = UK + Germany + France only

Link - http://www.vgchartz.com/met...

Bathyj4092d ago

i didnt know that.
are you telling me the ps3 i bought in 2007 didnt register on vgcharts?

BitbyDeath4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Yep, states this on the website itself through the link I provided above.

So the 3 I purchased would not be included either.

blackbeld4092d ago

Yep, but hurt.

And some jealousy.

Ezz20134092d ago (Edited 4092d ago )

i really hate how xbox fanboys always play the victim in every thing

they say "they don't care" about sales
when the worldwide numbers from sony and MS them self (not vgcharts)show how much ps3 outsold xbox

yet as soon as NPD article come out you see them all in those articles and show how much they care about sales

they don't care when it come to World wide numbers but they care about NPD

that's hypocrisy at its finest

OmegaSlayer4091d ago

9000 WiiUs in EU
This is performing worse than XBox360 in Japan LOL
Hope Nintendo put a nail in the WiiU coffin soon. :p

It seems its been a PS3 vs 3DS sales war lately.

Or am I seeing things?

Blastoise4092d ago (Edited 4092d ago )

Ni No Kuni #1

So good to see a traditional JRPG doing well these days

medziarz4092d ago

Guess who's DOOMED, CONFIRMED.

juandren4092d ago

I wouldn't say any console is doomed. Microsoft still has North America. Sony just needs to market the strengths of the PS3 (which, let's face it, is everything it offers) to North America and they will slowly start narrowing the gap between the PS3 and 360.

Knight_Crawler4092d ago

PS VITA? LOL

On serious note Sony needs to figure out how they can move some Vitas...how about adding 3D and dropping the price -_-

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis8h ago

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.
