GamesRadar - Ubisoft's next entry in its open-world FPS series could be its best.
Far Cry debuted on March 23, 2004, meaning that next week, it will have been 20 years since Jack Carver first washed up on the shore of a tropical paradise teeming with hostile mercenaries.
I'd love a far cry pack with the original PC game (not the half assed port on ps360) instincts, predator even a port of far cry 2 to modern consoles back when these games had their own identity and weren't far cry 3 cut and pastel
India is a culturally rich and beautiful land which is a perfect setting for a video game. Here are some of the best games set in India.
Since the first game was released in 2004, Far Cry has set the standard on fantastic open-world shooters.
I would put 5 above 6 but agree with the other ratings. Though 6 has more refined gameplay compared to 5 it's lack of a compelling story really does hurt it imo but if you are a gameplay fiend and don't really care about story it makes sense.
For me it's got to be
1) More background on the main character, make us care about him...or her. Jason turned into a killer way too quickly, it should of built up more slowly as he killed with less comments about it and less guilt.
2) The memorable villain should be in longer...Vass was great but he wasn't in very long. I thought he might of popped up during the end like you thought you killed him but didn't. I mean the whole fight with Vass didn't even feel like a proper fight you looked like you were tripping for most of it that when you stabbed him it was over so quickly...afterwards I was like "Is that it....is he actually dead, did I really kill him".
3) Bigger map....obvious reasons
4) More vehicles...come on no dirt bikes,no helicopters, no air planes, no jets, no bulldozers, no cranes, no pogo sticks, no space hoppers...you get the idea.
4.5) Vehicles could link into Easter egss...make it so you can find a back to the future delorean, a super fast ferrari which will obviously get torn to shreds in the first 10 minutes of using it, a tank, a monster trucks. Same goes with weapons, clothes etc
5) Destructible environment...make it so if I shot at a tree a group of enemies are under with a super sniper riffle the tree would fall onto them or at least distract them.
Or if I shot a rocket launcher into a small building the building would collapse or miss a chunk out of it
6) An optional third person mode would be nice in vehicles....I said OPTIONAL
7) Maybe a small urban city and I said small on a small island like a tourist holiday location, just for some variety in the location, themes, vehicles etc
8) For the LOVE OF GOD can you please make it so I can cycle through my four main weapons with the Y/Triangle button. Only having it so you can select your last two was ridiculous, not to mention trying to cycle through your weapons on the circle wheel never properly selected something it was too sensitive.
9) New ways to kill
If I was in someones house and I saw for example the stove why couldn't I turn it on, light a candle while the enemy is in the front room and watch it explode from afar or maybe roll up a newspaper on a crate, shove it into his car, light it then do something to make him get into his car or near it.
Get where I'm going with this
Better story.
More Citra!
To be next gen and come out 2 years from now , a far cry 4 would be too soon
More mushrooms and enemies!
