By the end of this generation most gamers will be going full digital.

RTheRebel4097d ago (Edited 4097d ago )

but I love the box art of my games :(

MultiConsoleGamer4097d ago

I do to actually. I'm a collector.

I just think the industry wants full digital.

I will never go fully digital for home console games. I like to have the option of selling them in the future if I want to. Or physically taking my game over to a buddies house.

People said the same thing about the music industry yet CDs are still around.

Chidori4097d ago

I doubt I'll ever go full digital. I enjoy ripping off the plastic to get to that new game. Feels like Christmas every time. Digital is great and all, but I'll probably only make use of it for old games and digital-only releases. I enjoy waking up every morning and seeing my library of games stacked in front of me.

I'm not surprised by this at all. Nintendo already stated that the majority of those with a Wii U or a 3DS have taken the devices online at some point. It stands to reason many tried to download a game or 2 from time to time.

ive downloaded a few games on my WiiU

Donnieboi4097d ago (Edited 4097d ago )

Of course they sold a lot of digital games, since they charged people to get their VC games AGAIN despite previously owning them on Wii 1. Let's not be naive.

what 50 cents ?? wow thats the biggest con everin the history of cons ??????? being sarcastic.

RuperttheBear4097d ago

You can transfer the games you bought on the Wii to the Wii U for nothing. You don't have to pay again.

Kos-Mos4097d ago

Are you high? It even gives you fantastic "bye to Wii, welcome Wii U" cinematic when you transfer your already bought games.
I cried a little bit when those Pikmins tore my old Wii apart.

Kennytaur4096d ago

Shouldn't have been too hard, the old Wii had/have a pretty poor store with little interesting content.

I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.
