Phantom Hourglass is the Most Fun Legend of Zelda Game

The Legend of Zelda is an adventure; a journey; an experience. It is a quest of trial and error; failure and triumph; frustration and delight; light and dark. Zelda is a series full of moral enlightenment and philosophy, and it is these very complexities that have always attracted me to the franchise.

Phantom Hourglass on the Nintendo DS is often criticized for its lack of these elements. Many critics say that while it is a great game, it is not a great Zelda game, and that may very well be true. Dathen Boccabella plays Zelda for its complexities both in gameplay and deeper moral significance. The Wind Waker’s DS sequel does fall short there, however, to Dathen it is actually the most fun installment in the whole franchise.

Twilight princess is such a copycat to OoT.
Skyward sword IMO is a tie with for number with OoT.

Link was so attached to Zelda, I felt I really had to save her cause they really wanted each other. It was a whole new emotion to zelda and the gameplay was nice.

SanMarco: is it a problem TWP is a bit looking like OoT? the 2 games are very different, the start, the context, the story and everything is different. i didn't like the wolf sequences, i think they were boring and with no interest, but it's nice when it's possible to change to wolf at anytime, makes the displacements much faster.

Ok it's taking place in Hyrule but then OoT is a copycat of Link to The Past but each one has its special particularities.

I personaly love the Zeldas in Hyrule there is just much more freedom of movement for example, while other's freedom is faked by water, tracks or flying..

I do really like Twilight Princess, to me is not the worst is just the less good, I love this saga too much.

And if you notice I love to play Zelda games on the go. Links Awakening its a gem that all game lover should try at least once.

For some reason I'm not very interested in Skyward Sword, even though I loved TP on Wii. OoT is my favorite, and Majora's Mask and Windwaker follow closely behind.

it's an opinion thing, but Wind Waker for me is the worst Zelda in the series in term of content and compared to the other ones.

Phantom Hourglass is a very nice pocket game alongside Spirit Tracks, but number one best Zelda of all times is Link to the Past, even Miyamoto says it!!

Just because miyamoto says it's his favorite, doesn't mean it has to be everyone's. I think the good thing about zelda is that anyone of the games (barring the cdi games) can be a favorite. They each are unique, yet familiar.

I liked Phantom Hourglass for awhile, but it was one of the only Zelda games I started and never finished.
