Capcom released "too many" Resident Evil titles in the "last year or two", Resident Evil Revelations producer Masachika Kawata has told VideoGamer.com, admitting that the publisher has learned that "putting on a lot of titles [does] not necessarily win over gamers".
Duuro says: "I think the idea behind the movement is cool, but on the other hand, the execution and clear limitation of the platform somewhat undermine the whole thing."

That's a lame excuse, it wouldn't matter how many Resident Evil games were released if they were all actually good games.
