WFTV: OVIEDO, Fla. —
An Oviedo family was awakened in the middle of the night by police with guns drawn and surrounding their home. Police said it turned out to be because of a hoax that played out over an Xbox.
Oviedo police said they've never had this type of crime happen before, but police said because the Xbox is connected to the Internet and because many games have chat rooms, that can open people up to hackers.
Stay lean, make games with your heart, and steal from the best.
Deadly Premonition is a pretty weird game, but all of these absolute oddities are even weirder.
Game Rant talked to Suda51 about a potential sequel to Shadows of the Damned, and here's what he had to say.
Man, I’d love to get a sequel. I wish that’s was this was instead of a remaster, but it’s such a niche title. It won’t sell gamgbusters, unfortunately.
ha ha, flawless, expect more copy cats :P
omg im from oviedo Fl
This is not the first time this has happened, this has happened before. Some Youtube video on it, literally the guy even recorded the conversation with the person who set him up before hand.
Some guy on xbox live practically threatened him saying he was a hacker and that he could report him to the police as a terrorist threat, later that day low and behold a swat team kicks down his door while he was still playing CoD..
I guess people will think a little more before they start shit talking over the internet next time.
It's really that easy. I can almost assume the exact same thing happened in a sense, they pissed off some hacker on Xbox live and he retaliated. Then again if these hackers get that bothered by kids on the net it's kind of scary to think what they do to their ex girlfriends or people who really piss them off.
