While many people want to see Black Ops 2's DLC release on the Wii U, does it make sense for Activision to do so with such a small online player base?
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
Call of Duty players are jumping into Black Ops 2 for the final time before its Wii U servers go offline for good.
GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 leap up due to summer sales
Wow, good games never get old I guess.
CoD will always be a beast of a franchise, and how awesome is it that you can just boot it up or pop it into your Xbox and play, MS BC is really a neat feature.
Said player base can grow. It just needs the support that can attract more players. Besides, isn't supplying DLC fairly inexpensive if its already been made? so it's not exactly outside the realm of reality for them to strengthen support on the Wii U side of things and have a stronger userbase for next year's COD game. Just my two cents though.
so what if it's a small install base at the moment, it will grow. and DLC should be available to all platforms regardless. it's only been out a few months on WiiU, i would be more worried after a year or two if it was still at that level of players.
i will never get this game . .redemption is where its at!
just because you dont care about black ops 2 dlc doesnt mean the rest of us dont. its a new console of course its not gonna have as many players as the others but is that a reason to treat us wii u owners diffrently?
also i read from a treyarc admin that it isnt based on the ammount of players. there getting everything ready to get dlc on wii u.
pleanty of other wii u games have dlc like assasins creed 3. just give them time.
its free for them to do dlc and updates on wii u.on ps3 and 360 they have to pay to do it.
so it shouldn't be a problem.
ac3 sold less then c.o.d. on wii-u and it got both dlc packs.
