LOLWUT: This guy is selling a Smashed Wii U for 15,000$

Philippe Baghdassarian: "I was browsing eBay and came across this guy who smashes stuff "calls it art" and then sells it for more, in this case 14,800$."

Snookies124097d ago

Hell yeah, some idiot is going to buy that, mark my words... If Ebay doesn't take it down first lol.

nzk04097d ago

Yeah, makes me think.... maybe I should become an "artist" too :P

Snookies124097d ago

Shhh, don't give people the idea! I'm busy breaking all my systems right now...

EddieNX 4097d ago

Yep , i just smashed my xbox 360. Most artistic thing i've ever done. Now where the fuck did I put my Vita ?

adorie4097d ago

I don't know why Ebay takes down these ridiculous auctions, anyway. They make money and if someone wants to buy a piece of half burnt toast with the image of Jesus Christ AND Elvis on it, it's their right to do so!

guitarded774097d ago (Edited 4097d ago )

Because eBay is sold out to vendors now... used to be so awesome when it was individual people selling their crap, but it has become a worthless site. The 1 million dollar random piece of just was always there for s#!ts and giggles. Now days companies will threaten to sue eBay if their product is made to look bad, so eBay will remove listings. They also have to worry about buyers purchasing something fraudulent, and it coming back on them. PS: NEVER buy perfume or cologne on eBay... it is fake 99.9999% of the time.

hellvaguy4097d ago (Edited 4097d ago )

Ebay isn't going to take something down just because its in poor taste. Way too big brother censorship. (unless its something a lot more over the top like real body parts or kiddy porn)

LackTrue4K4097d ago

Why is smashed, and so much?!?
"Did Oprah sit on it?"

-Ghost4097d ago

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode when Homer messed up the BBQ set, lol.

Commander_TK4097d ago (Edited 4097d ago )

nzk04097d ago

1upgamer994097d ago (Edited 4097d ago )

LOL it probably still works...My Gamecube fell down a flight of stairs and worked just fine... :) I was just kidding about the Wii U still working though.

You know, that is something I've always respected about Nintendo's consoles... They are all freakishly durable.

Looking Ahead: The Lingering Questions About the Next Mario Kart

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."

I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.

gold_drake6d ago

there wont be a new one until the switch 2 comes out.

nintendo needs their bangers early on
