Five Games I’m Horribly Ashamed Of Never Finishing

Kotaku: Piles of shame, by definition, are shameful. But while untouched games in cellophane taunt and beckon , there’s a special circle of torment reserved for the games we started, but didn’t finish. Games we enjoyed, maybe even loved, but abandoned before completion.

It’s too late now! We can’t go back. Too much time has passed… things have changed, we have changed. The world has moved on yet we — a couple of hours shy of resolution — have to live with the fact that we have left an incredible game unfinished. We’ve tarnished a holistic experience and we’re bad bad people.

I may be one of the worst offenders. With too many games and too little time, I start almost every major release yet seldom finish them. Among these hundreds, however, are a handful of games that resonate — games I am genuinely ashamed I gave up on. These are the top five.

Didnt finish GTA4 but im not ashamed. That game was an extremely boring affair!!!!

FriedGoat4097d ago (Edited 4097d ago )

Yes! Too much realism made the game extremely boring. Or maybe it was the fact I can't relate to annoyingly voiced immigrants. Who knows. All I know is the physics were fun for a while, but the game was boring. Viva la San Adreas!

Well in my opinion its the best game this gen.

i agree, i got the key to the city achievement in this game. thats 100% completion in single player, even i think it was crazy.

Tales of Abyss on 3DS for me.I wanted to play it but it bored the snot out of me.Same with Persona 3.

Blank4097d ago

Hey I dont know how you stopped playing persona 3 its story is engrossing! Not that im trying to tell u what to do.... But go back and finish it the ending will leave you satisfied you did ; )

I really tried to finish Tales of the Abyss, too. But I also got bored of it (the only Tales games I ever finished and really liked were Symphonia and its sequel).

The games in Persona series have a problem that they start really great, but halfway through them, I just want to finish them fast. The games are good, I'm playing 4 Golden right now, but there comes a time that I get tired of building the many S. Links and just want to see the end of the plot.

Zachary M. Cain said: Shadow of the Colossus is hailed as one of the best action-adventure titles of its time. The game was originally released for the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2005. It was so good in fact, it got a remastered version in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and was well received by old and new fans alike. Let’s revisit this iconic classic in 2024 and see how well it holds up to its past reputation.

5 Games To Play While Waiting For Dragon's Dogma II

Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. Here's a list of games that will hopefully scratch that Dragon's Dogma itch.

I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.

I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.

Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.

The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.

For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.
