OXM - Nothing gets us hotter under the collar or moister of armpit than the thought of a new role-playing game - and the years ahead are ablaze with promise on that count, despite a general unwillingness to share details for fear of giving away the status of next gen hardware.
Plenty of unforgettable games have completely messed up their players throughout the years, all the way back from the PS1 days to the dark recesses of the modern internet.
Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."
You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is
That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.
Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II was an intriguing and unique RTS title, that sadly suffered in its console port.
Was just thinking about this game and wishing I had a way to revisit it. The way EA scrubs these titles from existence once their licensing runs out is horrid.
I was disappointed by DA2 but I think DA3 will be interesting, providing there's truth to the rumours about taking control of the inquisition.
One thing I'd like them to do with the next gen hardware is dramatically increase the number and variety of combat animations, so that battles look like actual, properly choreographed battles rather than people knocking hitpoints off each other.
i'll be playing all of these games!
cannot wait
though i will be playing them all on pc, except dragons dogma expansion, might pick that up on ps3 or 360, depending on which platform runs better
Meh. Witcher 3 or bust.
Gotta say that's a pretty lame list of games.
Seriously? Lightning returns and mass effect 4?
Those have become two of the most hated series from this gen.
And the rest in that list isn't anything special either.
If people want RPG's they should get a gaming PC.
That's where the really good RPGs are coming.
Wastelands 2, Project Eternity, ShadowRun...and many more.
