Nintendo takes a crap on its critics: Haters still gonna hate, though

Wii U has no games. Wii U is outdated tech. Nintendo keeps making Mario. This is the same old tired song that Nintendo’s critics keep singing.

The Wii U doesn't have many games yet though... I mean, that's what happens with every new console. It's a fact, one that has been true for just about every console launch within its first year or so.

So let people complain, they're just missing out... I don't have a Wii U myself, and didn't see too much reason to buy one. However Wind Waker, Fire Emblem x Shin Megami, and X are SERIOUSLY making me consider it. I say great job Nintendo. You did well with those announcements. Just keep this up and you'll be good with the hardcore crowd!

All those games you mentioned above are games I'm really not interested in that are coming to Wii U. I like the new Yoshi game, New 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and of course Smash Bros!!! Pikmen 3 and wonderful 101 man I have to get a Wii U...

I agree with you with the games thing and it is good to let people complain. It isn't good to say this as your title

"Nintendo takes a crap on its critics"

I mean come on. Where is the maturity in that. It just comes across as some really immature piece. What about "Nintendo proves Wii U critics wrong". It keeps a professional image while saying the same message. Less rubbish more professionalism please.

Now that is out of the way, lets get to the topic at hand. There is nothing really there for me and that is okay because I know there is stuff their for the hard core Nintendo fanbase who bought at launch. Also they didn't announce release dates. These games could be years away for all we can tell. Also if they haven't announced the release date then we are surely going to get a 10 minute demo and release date at E3 which takes up their show on stuff they have announced months ago. I hope they have more than hat up their sleeve.

NSMBU is suprisingly awesome , Nintendo Land is awesome and gets AMAZING when you bring some buddies over to play , ZombiU is a very interesting concept and definitely worth your time. Loving my fixed version of Ninja Gaiden 3. SASRT is a blast. Trine 2 directors cut is amazing with touch controlls.
Nano assault is a blast.

I also bought the likes of AC3 , Batman , Darksiders 2 , Blops 2 . I got games for my wiiu...

I bought one day 1 , Because I knew all the good stuff was coming , and some of the launch content genuinely interested me.

If they can announce even more at E3 i would be very surprised and it would be an awesome thing

Looking Ahead: The Lingering Questions About the Next Mario Kart

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."

I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.

nintendo needs their bangers early on
