First off, why the hell am I going to listen to a state senator who makes probably 90X what I make and does absolutely nothing the whole year? Second, why does this guy even care? There has to be some sort of motivation behind his comments.

I can somewhat agree about all gamers giving their opinion, but that's a constitutional right man. You can't take that away from us. But the whole, all gamers needing games to fulfill their lust for violence and money...what the hell is that about?

I'm assuming he's talking about violence and money in games and not in reality.... And even then it's still subjective to certain games. I mean..yeah, if you buy GTA, you're going to want to do whatever the game allows you to, which, it allows you to do a whole lot. So wtf does this guy expect?

Sir I respectfully decline. My name is (omitted). You speak time and time again about video games that you know nothing about. You don't play them, you don't enjoy them. To you they are nothing more than a violent expression of mankind or worse. You are wrong and and should take your own advice. You where wrong about Grand Theft Auto. You charged forward with out a single clue about game modification, and the amount of effort it takes to unlock hidden items in games. You where wrong about the Global Gaming League. Desensitization is a buzz word with very little meaning behind it, yet you throw it around like fact. You where wrong to try and criminalize "ultra-violent" video games. Who are you or any government agent to judge what is "ultra-violent"? Try spending more time actually helping people that need it, and less time trying to be a mother shaming us all into what you want your world to be like. It might save your failing CA a couple million dollars.

These games do not make you violent, bad parents, bad schools, bad environments, mental illness, and bad people around you make you violent. If not for video games I can not even imagine what my AD-HD would have done to me. Video games where the only thing that could keep me calm for years of my early life. They may have even keeped me away from alcohol like my father, and drugs. I will never know that other life, and neither will any studies that are conducted.

Gamers are everyplace they are everyone, there are more of us than you. Dinosaurs where only around for so long, maybe you should take their example.

yea i wanna read the article but i keep gettin mad lookin at the title & readin quotes from it. now we'd be in trouble if it was a gamer who plays games professional or even a game designer who went on a killing spree who has more of direct tie 2 gaming but its always sum1 random who could of been doin many other things 2 contribute 2 what they do but it seems lik ppl just dont get that it can be sumthin other than just the games they might hav used as an outlet heck we dont kno how many ppl hav been saved by games cuz instead of goin crazy in real life the picked up a controller & let it out thru playin. it just gets frustratin 2 hear sum1 bad mouth a hobby u luv when they kno nuthin of it at all,
we hav these games being sold in the millions & 1 person goes crazy & its o it must of been from them playin pac-man so u gonna piss off millions of ppl who u r sayin r unstable & crazy good idea
