Sony’s vice president of home entertainment, Hiroshi Sakamoto, hinted at the announcement of the PS4 during an interview with Emol (translated).
Sakamoto spoke about “a new announcement related to the new PlayStation.” He also said that the news is “still a big secret” and that the PlayStation side of Sony, “are getting ready for it.” Hmm, all very cryptic and ambiguous, but with all the rumours that have surfaced over the last couple of months, one can only suspect that he is talking about the next PlayStation, even though he did not outright mention it.
With the end of the Big Spring Sale and the lead-up to Easter, Amazon has axed the price of this stunning, high-performance Alienware display.
Workers at Sega of America, a division of Sega Sammy Holdings Inc., have became the first employees at a major North American video-game company to ratify a union contract, a move that may accelerate a burgeoning labor movement in an industry known for widespread instability among its work force.
The contract, ratified Tuesday, covers around 150 people across marketing and other departments at the division’s offices in Southern California. Workers will receive minimum yearly pay increases of 4% in 2024, 3% in 2025 and 2.5% in 2026 as well as a number of other benefits, Catalina Brennan-Gatica, a representative for the Communications Workers of America, said in an interview.

Worst thing that will happen is it will have a lower stock price and ceos won't get extra millions they don't really need. Other than that the company will continue on and ppl will be treated better.
This is AWESOME - Sega seems to be progressive in their new ways - big props to Sega !!!
Days Gone developer appears to be moving well outside its comfort zone in order to join Sony's ongoing foray into live-service games.
Admin note: Updated this to rumor. Job listings can be a good indicator, but let's remember nothing is final until officially announced. ~Christopher
This game will determine the fate of Sony Bend. Not looking to good if it's a live service game.
I'm going to say this as someone who really enjoyed Days Gone
Why would you go and create an open world, multiplayer game with live service elements if you're previous game which was only a single player title came out flawed?
Wouldn't you want to create a new single player game to refine and fix your last mistakes to master what you were going for the first time before jumping into uncharted territories with online, multiplayer and live service which is a completely different beast entirely.
I can't be the only who thinks this right?
Just seems like your setting yourself up for failure in my opinion, you're giving yourself and your team bigger challenges to overcome in an already oversaturated market, a market where live service games made by people who are used to online and multiplayer are even struggling themselves.
It might be good, who knows, but at the moment it just seems they are biting off more than they can chew.
I full expect to see this game announced at SGF.
It's definitely not Days Gone 2 it's a new LS IP. Hope it looks and plays good.
Not really a launch but an unveiling. I could see it if they have to which I think they do. At E3 they have the Vita to sort out and by revealing the console before they could do a Nintendo and concentrated on some other aspects of it (I say Gaikai and how that will interact with both the PS4 and Vita with of course other games)
Fix the title, it should be May announcement.
I think they will show off the cloud gaming one day ps4 the other
1. Announce in May with a few tech demos and some small features.
2. At E3 talk about Gaikai, some first software for launch. Price and final specs.
Makes sense to announce after the last of us, am looking forward to next gen but all these rumour articles are going to get very annoying over the next few months
