So the DLC on the original Borderlands had a lot of us hooked, but why does the DLC for the sequel suck when compared to it?

I agree the DLC hasnt been as good as Borderlands 1, but how can the writer be serious stating that the Torgue DLC is "generic"

You can have whatever opinions you want about the DLC, the series, whatever, but the franchise and the DLC are most definitely not generic

It just felt like, run forwards, shoot, run forward, shoot. Just like a Call of Duty game. I also beat it in less than what 3 hours?

Borderlands 2's DLC is definitely in the generic and copy / paste category. Don't be delusional. The quality of it has dropped since the first game.

kinda like Gearbox is showing a big middle finger to those with the season pass, isn't it?

Gocatters17024108d ago

I agree that all the comments that the DLC hasn't been up to standard. And you're right, 3 hour DLC is not good enough

I'm just a little stumped when i hear people referring to it as generic, the art style, the humour makes it instantly stand out from anything else out there these days

Used up all the goodness making the main game. Works out great for me since I believe DLC is the devil incarnate.

Level cap. There's nothing to work for beyond getting through the story. I too played the first two DLCs and was fairly bored with it. I don't think I'm using anything more than maybe one shotgun from the first DLC.

Something some developers seemed to have forgotten lately. Reward. Some games don't seem to have been balanced very well. I hit the cap way too early on the 2nd playthrough. No more levels, no new skills, and no more new higher leveled weapons. I already played through the game once, so I know the story already. There's no reward.

It bothers me that they want to wait until March to raise the cap. By then we'll probably get the 4th DLC pack.

No new level cap is definitely my main reason for not buying any DLC, though from what I've heard it hasn't been great DLC anyway. They should have included new characters with each DLC if they weren't gonna raise the cap.

I'm pretty sure they were looking to bump up the level cap with the next DLC... don't hold me to that though, it's what i've heard

The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series

Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground

Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3

And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2

I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.

No one liked the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. Top 10?

toxic-inferno466d ago

I don't know... It was a strange addition to the game, and the parts of the game where you had to fight in it were tedious. But driving it around Gotham felt brilliant.
