Capcom teases Wii U game news that will be shared “very soon”

Capcom appears to have some sort of new Wii U game announcement on the way.

Well, they did just announce RE Revelations for Wii U and other platforms... could just be that. But Nintendo also has a Nintendo Direct for Wii U games tomorrow, so maybe we'll hear something there.

could just be a disc full of DLC. You have to buy the disc first, then buy the DLC off the store. Scamcom.

I'm kinda gettin sick of everyone jumping on the ''wiiu has no games'' bandwagon. Are you aware the console has been out for 1.5 Months globably ?

People need to take a deep breath and relax , and just remember that pretty much no console ever has had some genuinely good games after 1.5 Months in its life.

I'm gunna use the Lackluster 3DS launch as an example.
Street fighter 4 , Nintendogs , Pilot wings , Steel diver , Ridge racer , Ghost recon shadow wars.

In my opinion that was one of the worst launches in recent memory.

And it took about 5 months just for 3DS to get a few decent games Starfox 3D , Ocarina 3D , Dead or alive etc.

Now look at the 3DS ? It has a huge growing library with arguably the best 2013 lineup out of any console.

Point is - this is exactly what is going to happen to wiiu. And in 6 months time , Pikmin 3 , Wonderfull 101 , Monster hunter Ultimate , Rayman Legends , Aliens colonial marines , Lego city undercover , Wii fit U , Game and wario will all be sitting comfortably on the shelf's.

Give it time and you will get mega news. We already know Smash bros is deep in development.

Remember the PS2 launch? man talk about lackluster... Tekken Tag Tournament was the only game worth getting at the time if I remember right, but it didn't take too long for it to get the most varied and arguably best titles available that gen.

So yeah, Wii U is fine no need to worry IMO, anyway the day people finally stop blindly bashing Nintendo can't come soon enough.

I should have been more verbose in my statement. I'm rooting for Nintendo and WiiU. I'm just surprised that Nintendo hasn't kept a steady stream of news articles to keep customers in the loop in their way of thinking.
Also I have to say that although everything that has been said about new consoles is true. Nintendo has done enough of these "grand" openings to know that a steady flow of games whether on eShop or retail is paramount to keep interest and not have customers set into buyers remorse.
I would argue that in this day in age, its even more important since everything is on display.
At least back in the PS2 days, you had to patiently wait, information came primarily in magazines, word of mouth or your friendly Gamestop employee.
Now information is at our fingertips and any business model must incorporate this into their action plan.

Its very disheartening to turn on your new system and not see (at least) updates on the eShop
the message that comes across is that this was a half-assed debut.

But I remind you. I am cheering and hopeful that things will pan out. As you stated, the console has been out to the public for 1.5 months. I guess I can keep playing my Xbox and PS3 while I wait.

I hope not RE6. In this article though they state "ONM'S February teaser for "a stunning new game"". RE 6 is NOT a "stunning new game" so yeah RE 6 may come to the Wii U, but I hope that is not the stunning new game. It would not fit into this screen shot.
