Could piracy really ruin the 3DS’s future? What is the full scope of consequences? And if it is dangerous, what can we — gamers, developers, and publishers — do to prevent it?
Behind XDefiant's toxic work culture, crunch, delays, and a group of directors and managers internally referred to as 'The Boys Club'.
Man the industry just keeps on going with all this bs and to think this is ubisoft again remember what happened with that skull bones team same crap.

This game will be tossed out broken unplolished with a bloated budget trying to be cod but will fail sense ubi can get there shit in order. If i was me i would have gotten rid of this boys club asap there is alot looking for work out there.
Every industry has these issues
Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
If you were a 90s kid excited about Nintendo’s upcoming N64 console, you likely read something somewhere about the Nintendo 64 Disk Drive, also known as the 64DD or DD64.
Other nominees include games like SimCity & Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
There are some good nominees in this list that are deserving to be inducted also, but I feel Metroid has had the most impact on the industry out of all of these. Look how Metroid influenced the evolution of the Castlevania games, and the "Metroidvania" subgenre of games have become a prevailing force in gaming today. Especially now, Metroidvanias are bigger than ever.
I can very much see Resident Evil being added later too, bc it really did popularize and define the survival horror genre. I would say that one is next in line.
If any Metroid game should get the honor it should be Super Metroid , it's perfection in my eyes . 30 years later and I still feel it's the most epic shit ever .
The GBA remake deserves it or Super Metroid, the original was a very sloppy and rushed game programmed in 3 months and it shows.
If you've never played the remake, it's absolutely a must play, fixes basically every flaw in the game. Check out ExoParadigmGamer's comparison video.
The original DS was plagued with piracy. Flash carts could be purchased for under $10. The problem was so bad that pirates were even selling flash carts full of games on Craig's list.
There was also a problem with pirate carts and multi carts.
And even with all that the DS is the highest selling portable of all time, the second highest selling gaming device, and it has more million selling titles than any gaming device in history, yes, even more than the PS2.
So tell me again how piracy is going to doom the 3DS.
It seems like Nintendo consoles and handhelds are not too hard to hack. :/
I bought games on the DS and hacked it, because I hated carrying around 30 game cards. But now I just buy all my 3DS games digitally. Pirating: Do Not Want.
Information wants to be free.
People will go to extraordinary lengths and justifications to avoid having to pay for something.
