Well you can't really go backwards since you can't do worse than the first Dead Island game.

Sorry I had to say that lol.

First one was great with a great foundation. I would like to see more RPG elements, a little more horror themes, and greater weapon diversity with weapons that don't break after 4 hits.

Also the shooting aspect of the game was terrible. Was worth it to pick the big guy whose job focus was on bashing. If they fix that then the 2nd game should be great!! I along with you actually liked the game.

i thought the game was great, all games have flaws, and honestly mine only had a few bugs with mostly just zombies clipping through doors. I can't wait for this game and already pre ordered it as soon as it was announced a few months ago. They already said there will be more guns in this one and that was my only beef with the other game. I'm just anxious to see what happend after the helicopter crashed, and for those who played the ryder white dlc, what happends with the story next.

I'm really enjoying all these gameplay videos of Dead Island: Riptide. Its looking sooooooo gewd. /sarcasm

Isn't the game like out in a few months? Kinda worries me that they aren't showing any gameplay. Makes me feel like its so buggy they can't even take some decent gameplay vids.
