The independent development team at Gillis Games has recently revealed their upcoming project Luna: Shattered Hearts to the world in the hope of meeting their goals with the aid of crowd funding. Having been in development for six years Luna: Shattered Hearts is nearing completion, however Gillis Games require additional finance to pass the last few hurdles, and are hoping gamers will be the ones to assist them to find it.

I have just seen a ton of projects on kickstarter getting funded lately and some I just say to myself "WTF people are funding this?" then there are some really awesome ideas that no one ever funds..
I mean hey if people are willing to help you support your work and dreams more power to you, it's still just weird to me but I guess there is an audience for everyone. I just don't know if catering to niche audiences is particularly the best way of selling a game.
