Keep that PS3 sales momentum going Sony. Nice that Japan gets more PS3 color options

GribbleGrunger4112d ago

Haven't these just released in Europe too?

Godchild10204112d ago (Edited 4112d ago )

Yup, I don't know if they are a different shade of blue and red, but they are expecting to be released on the 20th of February with 2 controllers.

They need to release the blue and red Vita and the blue and red ps3 in North America. At least we have the White for now.

@Dakblood, I think Sony saved those colors to give the system new life this late in the generation. I think it's a great idea and it will get a lot of people buying another one or replacing the PS3 that broke on them before with a new color.

yeah thats pretty much what im doing for the vita, sony has a sale waiting to happen when they release a red vita in canada and i may get a third ps3 in red to go with my 80gb limited BC *now ylod* and my slim ps3 *now main ps3 to use despite the ps4 possibly coming out this year

always good to have backup systems for retro among other reasons for the future right?

Doesn't Japan always get more color options?

Y_51504112d ago

I wish the US would get cool colors like that, I'm a sucker for colors.

MASTER_RAIDEN4112d ago

yeah, im a little worried about this one because sony has a bit of a rep for keeping the funky colors inside japan. hopefully thisll be released in the us. then again, having it japan exclusive would make your fancy little imported ps3 that much cooler, wouldnt it? (;

Wii u wont die my friend.. It will continue getting supported by its 1st party just like gamecube did.. However, i dont see them sticking in the hardware business after this generation.. Maybe handhelds but thats a dying market so who knows.. Maybe theyll be like sega n become 3rd party pub/dev company which would be the best option for them.. They can craft some magnificent games that run & play extremely well but their hardware is just terrible.. As well as their philosophies on the gaming market..

Good lord i want a red ps3 super slim with a red psvita to match! So beautiful but i have PS4 to save up for so ill have to wait..

I always wanted the blue GT5 version, but never wanted to pay a lot for it.

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos5h ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis21h ago

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

anast20h ago

It's worth a play through today.
