Despite being filled to the brim with nostalgic elements from throughout the Final Fantasy series, All the Bravest is a cash grab through and through and everything wrong with the industry.
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "The Final Fantasy series is one of gaming’s most revered franchises with many of its games finding themselves near the top of ‘best games of all time’ lists and simply uttering the words ‘Final Fantasy’ usually evokes images of epic quests and world class polish. But not all of the games to bear the name have been worthy of praise. Some, in fact are terrible, unplayable, ugly and obnoxious games that make you wonder how Square Enix ever approved them. So for this week’s Top 10 we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel and counting down the Top 10 Worst Final Fantasy Games."
Addition of FFXIII Lightning Returns and Crystal Bearers make your list redundant.
Though I appreciate the lack of FFX-2.
And I agree with the rest.
Since when is After Years or Lightning Returns bad?
This article is garbage, the absolute worst FF, Final Fantasy XIII is nowhere to be seen.
Also, why include a game that doesn't even exist anymore? FFXIV 1.0 is long gone...
Game Informer:
Big franchises often take advantage of their fame and appeal with a variety of spin-offs. The RPG juggernaut Final Fantasy is no different and throughout the years it has experimented with many different flavors. Some worked out much better than we ever expected; others were complete disasters. One thing is certain: Final Fantasy spin-offs aren’t going away.
Square Enix just launched Final Fantasy Explorers this week in North America and World of Final Fantasy is currently in development. But we didn’t want a list that just discussed ‘respectable’ games like Crisis Core or Revenant Wings or select average titles like Final Fantasy: Chocobo’s Dungeon and Final Fantasy Dimensions. What good does that do? We wanted to zoom in on the best creations, while also looking at the games that went horribly wrong.
On the heels of Square Enix's announcement of Final Fantasy: World Wide Words, Stephen from Leviathyn reminisces on the best and worst Final Fantasy spinoffs.
This shows how off SE has been with it's fans. I hope next Gen they go back to what made them great and not push what made them worse this Gen.
The gameplay looks fine, but all those costly features are absolutely ridiculous. It still looks fun, but I really doubt it'll be worth all that money in the long run. This is a terrible move, not because of the brand, but industry-wise. In that sense though, I don't see how this is an insult to fans of the series.
But....it has cloud in it. I thought by raging I've only played ff7 and actually know nothing about the series fanboys, anything with cloud in it is a divine gift and that's why the majority of haters actually hate ff13 because its clearly not because of the atb based battle system that ff7 also has.
Actually this looked really neat but then they said for cellphones and it killed any interest I had. If it were on vita or the 3ds it would be must buy title.
Lol everyone needs to chill.
its just an IOS game so it dosent matter to me nor is it a big deal. some ppl might have gotten screwed outta some cash tho.
