DmC Devil May Cry costume DLC announced

Capcom will deliver DmC Devil May Cry costume pack download content on January 30 for $4.00 / 400 yen / 320 Microsoft Points, it has announced.

The pack will include three costumes: Classic Dante, Dark Dante, and Neo Dante.

Actually they stated just prior to "Dragons Dogma"s release that they where changing their DLC, but confessed that "Dragons Dogma" would, due to it already having been completed by the time of the decision, would include on-disc DLC. As for Resident Evil 6, it did have on-disc DLC, however, it was all released for free.

I think that what Capcom are doing (utilising the controversy regarding Dante's appearance to trick people into purchasing Skins that where probably designed 6 months ago and could easily have been included as an Unlockable item), but there's no need to make up instances regarding their previous titles.

I was the same as u when I first heard about the no lock-on but it works. I haven't had a problem with it yet. Actually I forget it was ever a option in previous games.

It's called reboot so.. why is it hard to understand the story would change alot. what did u expect there going to keep the same exact thing as original.

Maybe I have a more opened mind knowing this game would be different so I can enjoy it. If your going to nitpick every detail from last game then yeah your defenitly not going to like it. Because of that you won't enjoy it ever.

And Gameplay mechanics are great to me. Maybe doesn't have the SSS rank skill like it does in the originals but the combat is still pretty deep and u feel like a badass when u do it. Just like the originals did.

Do you have upgraded the HDD of your PS3s?
Because changing it with a faster one helps a lot.
I don't have frame rate issues with DmC and never had terrible issues with Skyrim (yes the framerate dropped but never to unplayability levels even after 120 hours pre-patch)

Well i dont know when you started gaming but this kind of stuff used to be unlocked if you achieved something in a game and it was free. This gen you have to pay for it. Obviously many of us arent happy about that as we dont like to bend over.

Been gaming since the days of the NES. I personally just dont feel like its that big of an issue. However there are instances were I would agree for example paying for characters in a fighting game, or extra weapons ect. But in the case of alternate costumes which dont have any bearing on the endgame experience IMO its just not that big a deal.

True some companies this generation have abused DLC (looking at you capcom), but I dont think that DLC is always a bad thing. Plus there already is an alt costume in this game these are just extra.

Look at EVERY other medium out there and you'll see "reboots" or alternate takes on most characters. Spider-man, Batman, Captain America, Iron Man, and almost every other comic character has had multiple versions of the world and characters.
