The first Mass Effect Collectors Edition for Xbox 360 goes for over $100 regularly. Then there are some like the Killzone 3 Collectors Edition which I got new for $35 from Sony's site directly.

That Metroid Prime Trilogy is tough as heck to find at a decent price.

The value will most likely only apply to the US versions of the game. As the case with every other system, The PAL region has different valuable games.

Some of these are not as valuable as Games Radar is stating. We sell Metroid Prime Trilogy for $19.99 at my store and Spyro for only $9.99. We have multiple copies of both...

F1 2009 is rare, but it's not $89 used rare. We sell it at $42.99 and it's on Amazon for even cheaper than that, sometimes.

Xenoblade Chronicles $89? Try £40 (about $64 including tax) on Amazon.co.uk for a new copy.

However, people are buying the game for $70 and up on Ebay. Worth keeping an eye on at the very least.

I was really on the fence with Xenoblade, but when I got to the store I finally gave in because deep down I knew I wanted it. I'm glad I did. The game is good, and it seems like I'll be able to make a gain on it when it comes time to sell.

This is why digital games are so good. If you wantt to buy a game but its rare they can make a digital release everyone can get.

Not a bad list but they could have put a lot more rare games on the list than some they listed. One of the hardest games to get is a game Called Aquanaut's Holiday. Its the Chinese English version that is the hardest to find. Last time I looked there was just one for sale on ebay for $250.

Kind of bummed to find that I only have one of the games on this list in the form of Xenoblade.

I also have Demon's Souls Phantom Edition sealed, the Japanese import of Deadly Premonition (called Red Seeds Profile and never released in the West on PS3) and Pandora's Tower. Hopefully they'll be worth a little down the line.

Love this kind of stuff though. Even some of the most awful games become gems. NBA Elite would be an amazing one.

Ironically NBA Elite is one of those games that you would most likely get cheap. Used game stores see yearly sports games as literally worthless after the new version is released. I'll have to keep my open in the future for that game.
