Microsoft Reveal New Xbox Exclusive

Microsoft Studios has today announced a new Xbox exclusive title coming this spring. While console gamers are used to explosions, high-octane races and adrenaline pumping combat, this new title is something a little bit different: World Series of Poker: Full House Pro.

Loved Full House Poker but this sounds like its going to be huge with free to play and the WSOP license attached for added realism. Cool concept and itself be interesting if you can play against Windows 8 players directly.

Texas Holdem was great, Full House was better but this sounds like its going to be big on Arcade.

The PS3 has some of the best games ever created coming out in this year.
Alone "The Last of Us" and "Beyond Two souls" will be 2 games that will define the whole gaming industry in a complete new way.
They do so much new things no one could have thought is possible with such old hardware.And im not talking only about graphics > The Last of Us will have the best AI in Console Gaming ever created.

The gen is over for 360 gamers but not for PS3 Gamers.They still get like 20+ exclusives this year WORLDWIDE.
The 360 gets a Gears of War Spinoff but well..360 gamers should be used to it LOL

You shouldn't be expecting anything major for 360. MS isn't going to announce a major title that's going to release in mere months upon announcement. All the major titles will come when the nextbox is revealed.

Ms is more than likely releasing casual games for the 360 and leaving all the hardcore newer titles for the 720.

This Xbl poker game is great way to keep people interested and win real prizes and its F2P so people can download it and jump right into it.

I guess it takes someone else to say it and make it clear, but when I do it its disagree marathon I'll never understand why.

Why waste time, development and money on something this late in the cycle? Everything right now is pointing towards a new Xbox launching this year, they have around 18 studios that have been very, VERY quiet for the last 2, 3 years.

I think Microsoft just takes the idea to launch a new console with a strong lineup.

I will never understand why certain groups of people hate the fact that Microsoft continuously releases the AAA titles that drew people to the platform in the first place.

I think people here wouldn't be happy unless Microsoft was releases niche titles that nobody buys. As someone who bought a 360 at launch specifically to get Gears Of War, I've been more than happy with my purchase this generation.

How do you know a new title wouldn't sale? I've been an Xbox faithful since it's release and have not seen anything from it since 2007 that was new and unexpected.

Halo4 isn't going to do it alone. We want other franchises to either make a proper return or see games that are fresh instead of multi-plats. It's not my money to spend (I know) but you gotta admit it would be a good feeling for MS to start showing gamers a little love other than the normal. The next box might be a different story but I see nothing wrong with wanting MS to focus more on games instead of everything else.

Of course not! It only came out in November of 2012. I play Halo 4, BO2, Gears 3, Forza Horizon, Minecraft and Battlefield 3 online for the most part right now.

Just look at games that aren't the top sellers for Microsoft. Games I've enjoyed like Ninety Nine Nights, Ninja Blade, Viva Pinata, Lost Odyssey and even Crackdown. All of those games I enjoyed quite a bit, but none of them had stellar sales.

Each console generation sees 3 to 4 years of great releases, the Xbox 360 is on year 8. There comes a point when you switch focus and start working on software for the next console. That tactic is different than Sony, but it could work to Microsoft's benefit if they have a great launch lineup that wasn't hindered because developers were working on old hardware.

The way I see it things can go two ways. 1.Let your studios keep working on current hardware and have a lackluster launch lineup. 2.Switch the majority of studios to next generation and let a select few studios put out AAA blockbusters that a good percentage of 360 owners will actually buy.

I also think with the evolving XBLA Microsoft was able to give us store quality games at a much greater rate and much less cost.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I'd take Halo 4 over something untested or something niche any day of the week. So many people complain about lack of new IP's when it's clear that new IP's help push a console generation at launch.

A good example of this will be The Last Of Us from Sony, it looks great, I'm buying it on PS3 certainly, but imagine if it was a launch PS4 title? It would give that new console quite the push and a new IP going into the future.

I want to see the next Halo or Gears, Microsoft is smart and understands core gamers buy consoles at launch. If you look at launch window games for the Xbox 360, you tend to understand why it did so well. COD2, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Saints Row, Prey, Condemned, Blue Dragon, Dead Rising and soon after Gears Of War. It was one of the better launch windows I've ever seen.

Umm, MS does release niche titles that nobody buys. Check the sales of Steel Battalion, Fable the Journey, The Gunstringer, Rise of Nightmares, Haunt, Nike Kinect Training, et. No one bought those.

Some people here making a big deal that it wasn't a AAA title for xbox360 when clearly its for their Xbox brand as you will be able to play across xbox service on pc/tablets/phones and obviously Xbox360.
