Microsoft Studios has today announced a new Xbox exclusive title coming this spring. While console gamers are used to explosions, high-octane races and adrenaline pumping combat, this new title is something a little bit different: World Series of Poker: Full House Pro.
When Rare originally designed the Xbox Live Avatars we don’t think they realised just how diverse they would become.
Our first game of poker online wasn’t just against some lads and lasses in suits and fancy hats but also the gingerbread man from Shrek and Batman’s nemesis Bane. Let it be known to all that Bane has a poker face beyond compare.
'World Series of Poker: Full House Pro' is a free-to-play multiplayer-centric title that brings with it the commercial license of the world’s biggest professional poker organization. As it stands now, it’s a fun time-waster, but not something recommended for a serious poker player looking to kill a lot of hours. 'WSOP: Full House Poker' is a nice follow-up to its predecessor and the raw materials show the making of a solid, social gaming franchise.
Ben of Xboxer360 writes, "Everybody loves poker, one of the oldest games of pure chance giving everyone, no matter who they are, a level playing field. A chance to win it all or lose it all. That rush of winning and sometimes the bitter sting of defeat is truly addictive, so it's only logical that this would translate to the video game world, allowing people from all over the world the chance to play together. There is one problem though, something that past attempts have failed to overcome. The core of the game itself involves the extremely real loss of money on someone's part, you can't have a game of poker without this little clause, after all, if there's nothing worth fighting for then what's the point? No one wants to be the card shark without a cause."
And there I was thinking it was going to be a major exclusive, silly me
Welp, anyone want to buy my PS3 & games? With an exclusive like this, I have no choice but to go with the 360.
(-_-)
I used to think Xbox had no exclusives but boy do I feel like a fool now.
With exclusives like this Ifeel more comfortable that Istopped paying for xbl and put the 360 in the living room for my wife to play kinect. Problem is all she does is play the games we already bought... mainly minecraft and carcassone. She can't make herself buy any kinect games yet...lol!
