The Last of Us - The game carries an "infection" in itself that no one knows yet

The Last of Us is coming without a doubt one of the highlights this year, which of the award-winning Uncharted creators Naughty Dog.

Besides quite obvious things that are one presented with the game, Naughty Dog's creative director Neil Druckmann noticed now one thing that no one has been identified.

"Here is a great mystery about the game that no one knows is that there is more than one kind of infection."

Naughty Dog plays with it but not on another zombie-fungal mutation or other survivors, but focuses on the narrative of the story class at the center.

"If together gameplay, story and art work, you can affect the players in a way as to make it impossible for any other medium can be reached."

Personally, you can of this "first-class" work from 07 May convince when The Last of Us, published worldwide.

In several articles I've explained to you where you're wrong on that assumption (because that's what it is - an assumption. You're full of them and you have proven that you know barely anything about the game before you hate on it). I've even replied to your PMs and countered your points - if you can even call them points. How did you reply? This:

It's not even your opinion of the game anymore. It's your overwhelming burning hatred for Naughty Dog and any project they are working on no matter how great. Your annoyance at the fact that people are excited by and hype up a ND game, supersedes your view of the quality of the game itself. So essentially, like with most people in supreme denial, you will hear what people say and understand that it's right (like you did in that PM), but you will ignore it on the grounds of your immature and baseless claims, and the fact that a company has had success with their games which are nothing short of great.

There's a real life fungis called Cordyceps.

This fungus can cause the victim to have no control of it's body and mind. Even becoming cannibalistic.

So in The Last of Us, a new type of Cordyceps has formed and it targets humans and by the looks of it it spread quickly across the world! The true mystery is how did the new type of the fungus formed? I guess it was a lab accident because right now scientist are experimenting with it for medical reasons.

The fungus is not only capable of affecting the human body but also its behaviour and psicology. Just imagine Joel or any other character is infected all the way through the game and it's behaviours are all controlled by the fungus. Man, I wish it fucks up our minds and hearts, I wish it's something like the indocrination theory in ME3 (which never happenned, but it's amazing just thinking about it) in which the whole game is just a big mind fuck and you don't know how to separate the game, reality and your thoughts.

After all the media sh#tstorm surrounded the infamous Modern Warfare 3 bombing cutscene, I don't think ND would take such a risk. Bad publicity is not something they'd want to deal with from the marketing standpoint. Besides, they don't need such a controversial scene in their game to be talked about, they're already awesome as they are.

I'm really anticipating this game, the last time I felt this anticipation was when Metal Gear Solid 4 was due to release.

Setting a graphical benchmark on consoles, being the most talked about video game during its time and literally decimating the competition and having devs and gaming industrty reevaluating what can be done on a console. Now that I think about it...they could go Uncharted on this one. There are zombies/people for the first 2/3 of the game. Then, some random monster pops up and it's WAY harder to defeat. That's what they did with all three Uncharted games. I'm glad Golden Abyss didn't do that. It got predictable. :/

If half way through the game, it causes a YLOD whenever you try to continue the game, but tge purpose is to make you 'wait some time' before continuing, like real-time sync or something.
