Next Week on the NA PSN: January 15th, 2012 – DmC, Far Cry 3 Free DLC, Disgaea PS2 Classic

When the Devil May Cry reboot releases next week, you’ll be able to either pick it up at your local store or download it directly to your PS3′s hard drive thanks to it now being a Day 1 digital title.

Disgaea 2, 3, 4 all use the same mechanics and are within the same universe. However they take place within different netherworlds and feature a different protagonist with a different set of characters. Certain characters from previous games make cameos but Disgaea D2 is the true sequel to Disgaea 1. Continuing the story with Laharl, Etna and Flonne.

Well patches cost over $25,000 so it makes more sense to make it Free DLC to keep costs down.

Made the mistake of getting Far Cry 3 on 360 due to it having my preferred controller. Live Gold expired on the 25th and can't bring myself to renew it. Never again, making that mistake. If the game isn't entirely based on SP, it's being bought on PS3.

DmC is the first game I've been looking forward too since Halo 4 so I'm excited, I played the demo about 10 times and each time I found some new secret or nuance to the combat, so bring on tuesday!
