Gamers have grown to love Xbox’s achievement system, as well as, PlayStations trophy system. These two reward systems make playing your favorite all the more enjoyable by adding a way to show off your ‘skills’ to your friends. These little rewards are addictive and can even add extra play time to some of your favorite titles. Getting achievements or trophies has become so popular that people try and collect as many as they can. It just adds a little something extra to accomplish, a little side challenge to what was already made with the game… what’s there not to love? The year 2012 had some great lists put together of how players can earn these rewards. Out of the great releases of the year which of them had the best achievement/ trophy lists of the year?

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.
Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion
Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.

It probably has to do with what the producer had mentioned recently. The thing about not wanting to change the essence of the original (e.g censorship). So maybe remastering the game was the best choice.
The link to the story didn’t really answer the question. It makes no sense that you have to censor a remake and not a remaster.
What I got from that article is licensed music forced them to change to a Remake(?) and that they’re working hard with the platform holders to negotiate not censoring, which Sony is stupid about.
My question is, how would a Remaster not have to go through censorship?
I’ve seen dialogue changed in FF7 and Baten Kaitos. Then you have actual cutscenes being removed like in the dmc remaster.
I assume the same could be done to this game.
Bull sh*t, you show me where fans wanted a Remaster instead of a Remake. I was more onboard with a Remake, I’m less excited just playing the same game I did before but now with sharper textures and better framerate.

No harm, I love Lollipop Chainsaw but it's a bit of a niche title.
Loved it back in the day and have my copy sat on the shelf and ypu are right, it was super niche, which is why my copy is increasing in value slowly but surely. Hoping a remaster doesn't tank the value of my PS3 copy
Assassins Creed 3 should have been on that list.
It's always much more fun when a game has entertaining side missions and unique/funny achievements :)

Getting the trophies in far cry 3 is a lot of fun, doing the outposts were awesome
