2013 year of the android console 2 shits were given. Who wants to play mobile games on a big screen tv angry birds in 1080P big whoop. Last time everyone jumped on the gaming bandwagon we had the videogame crash of 1983.

its funny because the whole point of angry birds was taking something quick to play on the go....now they think (or make people think) that they need to play angry birds at home on their big screen...

Take a look at the iTunes and Play stores and you'll see some graphically intensive games that would play just fine on a TV.

Honestly, saying tablets and smart phones can only play angry birds is the same as saying the Vita has no games. Its just plain ignorant.

This is just videogames being assimiliated by shallow popular culture. Everything about videogames is becoming more and more diluted. All this smart phone ios android crap needs to stop.

My thoughts as android consoles were released.

(1st Android Console announced *Ouya*)Ok wow more competition for Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft but will obviously be lacking in the visual department.
(2nd GameStick)Wow thats a little more interesting than ouya but why does a home console have to be more portable?
(3rd Nvidia Shield)Thats cooler but whatever its android, pc streaming is a cool idea.
(4th unu)Ok I guess anyone can release a android system.

Wasn't expecting anyone to release an android system beside Ouya but whatever they are interesting cheap toys. But I don't know how much Nvidia shield system is going to cost. How much are you willing to pay for pc streaming? I thought all PC fanboys like to use is a keyboard and mouse. Keyboard and mouse is a must have for Minecraft though.

Android is quickly not only becoming a garbage dump of an app store but also a garbage dump of consoles. Anyone apparently can make one. I suspect we will see a few more by weeks end.
