Destructoid's most wanted games of 2013

Destructoid - Everyone basically says this at the beginning of every year, but I'm going to say it anyway: 2013 is going to be the best year in gaming! That statement turns out to be a hit or miss depending on a number of circumstances, but it's hard to deny that we're in for a killer year thanks to what's on the horizon.

Forget about the more than likely new generation of gaming consoles that might be released this year. We're at the prime of the current-gen life cycle, and if you doubt that for one second just look at the games we've listed below.

I find it hard to believe that all those ppl have different tastes, I don't know I just cant, it's like they put a rule "the same game cant be chosen by multiple ppl" yep I'm sure that something like that happen & that's why u see some ridiculous choices there I cant explain it other way.

Soul Sacrifice
Pikmin 3
Phantasy Star Online 2
Gears Of War Judgment
Grand Theft Auto 5 PS3 version (It's tradition to play it on Playstation)

Knight_Crawler4126d ago

I would just add God of War to that list but am I the only one who does not feel as excited as I should for this games.

Maybe its because this gen has taken a toll on me and I know that lack of RAM on the PS3 and 360 will hold these games back and we wont see anything different than what we have gotten the last 6 years.

If the 720 and PS4 is not announced this gen then I am leaving console gaming for good and switch to PC.

DigitalRaptor4126d ago

The amount of RAM has nothing to do with the production of original content.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
